South Pasadena Tiger Run 5K/10K

BlacklistLA started in 2013 with a simple idea: bring people together in Los Angeles through running, art, and community. It’s now the city’s biggest group of its kind, giving folks a fun and safe way to see LA from a new angle. Their weekly events—like the huge Monday night art run, the Metro Run that uses public transit, and long runs on weekends—are all about exploring the city, meeting new people, and feeling proud of where you live.

Founded in April 2017 by Mike and Duy, the Koreatown Run Club has grown into a vibrant community of around 400 runners in Los Angeles. Rooted in Koreatown’s rich cultural landscape, the club embraces inclusivity and connection across all skill levels and backgrounds. Their regular runs through iconic neighborhood streets and parks offer more than just exercise—they foster friendships and celebrate cultural heritage. Meeting three times weekly near Oxford and Wilshire, the group welcomes everyone from beginners to seasoned marathoners, with training sessions and social events that strengthen bonds beyond the pavement. The club’s spirit reflects Los Angeles’s diversity and energy, blending urban exploration with shared experiences. Committed to community engagement, Koreatown Run Club participates in local races and charity events, supporting causes like the Koreatown Youth and Community Center. This close-knit crew exemplifies how running can unite people while honoring the unique character of their city.

Founded in January 2024, LA2Nowhere Running Crew unites a diverse community of runners and creatives in Studio City, Los Angeles. Starting as a small group of friends, the crew has grown into an inclusive space where people of all paces and backgrounds are welcome. Emphasizing a philosophy focused on the journey rather than the destination, their name highlights shared movement and connection through the city’s mix of urban streets and natural parks. Regular runs cater to all fitness levels, fostering friendships and personal growth in a supportive environment led by dedicated captains. Rooted in Studio City’s lively, relaxed vibe, LA2Nowhere combines fitness with lifestyle, reflecting the city’s energetic spirit. Besides weekly runs, members participate in local races, strengthening ties to the greater LA running community while celebrating togetherness and the freedom of running through the city.

Eastside Traffic, founded in August 2022 in Whittier, California, was born from Eddie’s experience navigating heavy city traffic to access running groups in Los Angeles. Centered at Liberty Community Plaza, this close-knit group of diverse runners fosters an inclusive, supportive community that values mental and physical health. Their name reflects their Eastside roots and their desire to avoid urban congestion, symbolized by their greyhound logo. Open to everyone at no cost, Eastside Traffic combines challenging tempo runs with camaraderie, embodying the resilient, grounded spirit of its suburban-urban environment.
