Corsa dei Castelli di Trieste

Founded in July 2024 by Teo in Trieste, Italy, Cavana Run Club grew from a personal journey of recovery and rediscovery. Inspired by a decade-old idea and a transformative experience with running after overcoming addiction, Teo launched the club’s first run from Hops Beerstrò, a place symbolizing both hardship and renewal. Today, the club has grown to over 1,200 members who gather every Tuesday to run moderate-paced routes through Trieste’s historic neighborhoods and scenic waterfront. Cavana embraces resilience, inclusivity, and community support without fees or commercial ties, welcoming runners of all levels to connect through shared progress and friendship. Its weekly runs, often starting at different city spots, foster a sense of belonging while exploring Trieste’s unique mix of Austro-Hungarian heritage and coastal energy. Beyond fitness, the club’s charity events and participation in local races enrich the city’s active culture, making Cavana a vibrant, grassroots hub for runners seeking healing, motivation, and connection.
