The 32nd Annual 5K for Health directly benefits Cass Community Health Foundation's safety net dental clinic, Cass County Dental Clinic. The clinic treats thousands of families who otherwise couldn't afford dental care at its two locations in Belton, Missouri and Harrisonville, Missouri each year. In 2025, we opened a brand-new, state-of-the-art clinic in Belton that has increased access for quality, compassionate dental care — which means more smiles to support! Your participation in the 5K for Health ensures these extra smiles stay healthy! Help us create smiles in Cass County and the surrounding area!

Our 5K begins and ends at Southwick Stadium in Belton, Missouri and circles the beautiful Cleveland Lake. After the race, stick around to enjoy the 5K Health Fair, complete with all-you-can-eat Chris Cakes, music, activities, and prizes!

The registration fee for the 32nd Annual 5K for Health is only $40 (the price increases to $50 on April 20)! Registration comes with an individual fundraising page and the opportunity to join a fundraising team. After registering, you will receive an email that will allow you to customize your individual fundraising page. Your registration also includes the official 32nd Annual 5K for Health t-shirt (the last day we can guarantee your size is April 6). Want to bring your pupper to the 5K? You can also register your dog for $15 and receive a free dog bandana and dog treats!

The three race Series gives participants the chance to compete individually at each of the participating races as well as a combined race time competitor for all three events! In addition, Heartland 39.3 Series completers qualify for extra swag! The three Heartland 39.3 races for 2026 are: Rock the Parkway Half Marathon on April 11, 2026, and the Garmin Olathe Half Marathon on April 25, 2026 and the Hospital Hill Run Half Marathon on May 16, 2026. Pricing for the 2026 Series will track the pricing for each Series event and will be the sum of the registration fees for all three Series races at the time of Series registration.

    If you have already registered for one or more of the Series races and want to step up to the Series challenge, contact Amy at KC Running Company to receive a discount code for Heartland 39.3 Series registration that reflects your prior registration for Series events! The discount will be in an amount equal to the price of the event or events that you have previously signed up for at the time that the code is issued, preserving any discount the registrant may have received for the race.

    Help raise funds for the Belton Educational Foundation by participating in the Pirate Dash 5K & Family Fun One Mile GLOW RUN on Friday, April 17 at 7:30 pm.

    5K participants will receive a race shirt (if registered by 4-3, or while supplies last) and finishers medal, and will compete for age group and overall awards. One Mile participants will receive a finishers medal, and have the option to pay $10 more to receive a race shirt (if registered by 4-1).

    Participants can also purchase a GLOW RUN FUN package for $10 or PREMIUM GLOW RUN FUN package for $20. Contents vary, but may include items like: light up foam wand, a clip-on lights, neon face/body paint, glow sticks, etc.

    Participants also have an option to purchase digital raffle tickets at registration ($5 each or 5 for $20) for a chance to win a custom wooden medal rack!

With an open diaphragm, organs such as the stomach, liver, spleen and intestines can travel through into the chest cavity preventing full development of the lungs, ultimately making it difficult for a baby to survive following birth. This 5k Walk/Run for CDH is an opportunity to not only celebrate my daughter, Dakotah's 1st full year of surviving CDH but an opportunity to bring awareness to this severe, life threatening birth defect! With your help, a donation will be presented to Tiny Hero, an organization that provides resources, knowledge, community and optimism to families with a CDH diagnosis! Help me support a great cause!
