Inaugural Couples Connect 5K – Valentine’s Day 2026
We’re excited to announce the very first Couples Connect 5K, happening on Valentine’s Day 2026! This brand-new event is all about celebrating love, health, and connection in a fun and active way.
Whether you’re running with your partner, walking with your spouse, showing up with a friend, or joining solo—this race is for everyone. Don’t have a partner? No worries—you may just meet them here! The Couples Connect 5K is designed to bring people together. Our scenic course, festive Valentine’s atmosphere, and themed race swag will make this event one to remember.
As a first-time event, we invite you to be part of history—kicking off a tradition where couples and the community come together for fitness, fun, and celebration. After the race, enjoy music, sweet treats, and time to connect with others in the spirit of love and togetherness.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancelation Policy All Lace Up Running events proceed rain or shine or snow or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no refund policy.
In the event of extreme weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to an half hour. Past this time, the even course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants.
If conditions turns into lightening, ice or become unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.
We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans.
A lot of hours, days and even months goes into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions.
Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions.
Thank you for your understanding of these policies and we appreciate your participation.
If you are unable to participate in the event, or the event is canceled, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal and you simply run the race on your own time on your own course. See our virtual race information for complete details.
