Pickle Events Run Template

CentraCare Earth Day Run is Central Minnesota’s premier race series. Held in St. Cloud in April, the event includes a Free Kid's 1K, 5K Run/Walk, 5K Team Challenge, Half Marathon, Half Marathon Relay, and an energizing Health & Fitness Festival. Courses feature great views of the gorgeous Mississippi River, rustic trails, and a celebratory finish line atmosphere in downtown St. Cloud on historic St. Germain Street.

Join us for ConnectAbility of MN’s Break the Barrier 5K & 1K for every body. This inclusive event is geared towards the whole family. Whether you're running, walking, rolling, or strolling, this event is about breaking down barriers and building a supportive community.

Tours & Vendors

• Our building will be open to the public for tours of our Assistive Technology & Mobility Lab

• The event parking lot will have free snacks, water, and community resource booths.

Early Bird Signup - Free Shirt

• Free event shirts will be provided to all 5K and 1K participants who register by May 15, 2026.

Free Medals

• Medals will be given to all participants at the finishline

Check In

• On day of event please arrive 15 - 20 minutes before your event start time.

5K Run starts at 8:00am

5K Walk starts at - 9:00am

1K starts at - 10:00am,

• At the event tent, you will sign in and receive your t-shirt (if applicable) and bib.

1K Chalk Paths

Colorful chalk paths will cover half the width of the 1K event route. Following chalk paths is optional.

The Tiger Prowl 1 Mile & 5k is a fundraiser supporting the Tech Cross Country team.

Event proceeds will be donated to the Tech Cross Country Booster Club!

The Tiger Prowl 1 Mile & 5k is an event with two races, both finishing in the Tech Football Stadium.

These are both chip timed races timed by Pickle Events.

7:00am - Packet Pick-up begins

8:00am - 1 Mile race begins

8:30am - 5k race begins

Race Information

These two races are open to runners of all ages and will highlight the beautiful St. Cloud Tech campus.

1 Mile Race Course

Start at the 50 yard line on the Tech football stadium, run a half mile north on the school entrance, turn around and finish where you started!

5k Race Course

Starting from the west entrance to Tech, runners will go south down 74, and into Hidden Acres Circle.

Going counterclockwise in Hidden Acres Circle, runners will get back on 74, go north to 33rd St, run east on the sidewalk back to the Tech entrance and run the last half mile south finishing on the 50 yard line of the football stadium.
