It’s that time of year again! The 11th annual Augusta Elementary Beaver Bolt is coming soon - Saturday, April 18th, 2026. This event brings people from near and far to participate in the 5k fun run/walk and the 400 meter fun run just for kids! Staff and students along with their families and friends come together to join in the fun! Whether you like to walk, run, or just enjoy the camaraderie of others - this event is for you. This year's fundraising event will again highlight our track facility and beautiful stadium! Race participants will get to start and end near the HS track and even get to pass-by our iconic Beaver mascot located at the entrance of our campus.

What do the funds go towards? Proceeds from this fundraiser go to the Augusta Elementary School. Money raised goes directly to our students for necessary school supplies, field trips, PBIS celebrations, playground equipment, books and so much more! This active feel-good experience is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and warmth in your heart. With your participation we are able to provide a much richer environment for the students of Augusta Elementary School while building a strong community at the same time! It gives you a chance to build memories that will last you a lifetime and also get you a Beaver Bolt t-shirt with registration. Encourage your family and friends to sign up and show your Beaver pride at this year’s fun event! We are excited to see you all there!

    15K Challenge Participates:

    Run both races for the price of one if you are up to the challenge! No extra bling but double the work and no awards for this category.

    Start and Finish Line: Altoona Hobbs Ice Arena, 2300 Spooner Avenue, Altoona, Wisconsin

    Starting Times: 5K starts at 8:30 10K Starts at 9:15 AM. Sorry, no dogs/other animals allowed on the course.

    Registration: Day-of-race registration and race packet pick up starts at 7:30 am at Hobbs. Registration ends 30 minutes prior to race.

    Parking: Parking is available in the parking lot adjoining the ice arena or on nearby streets.

    Awards: The first overall male and female runners and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female in each age division will receive an award.

    Online registration closes on Wednesday, April 15th, 2025. There will be same-day registration available from 7:30am-8:30am.

    Price

    price until March 20th:

    • $15 - price for ages 12 and under (discount will automatically be applied at check-out)

    • $25 - price for ages 13 and up

    price from March 20th to race day:

    • $18 - price for ages 12 and under (discount will automatically be applied at check-out)

    • $28 - price for ages 13 and up

    price on race day:

    • $20 - price for ages 12 and under

    • $30 - price for ages 13 and up

    T-shirt Deadline

    All participants who register by March 20th will receive a short-sleeved t-shirt.

    Event Details

    This race will not be chip timed. Strollers are welcome but we ask that you refrain from bringing rollerblades, bicycles or animals. The race will happen rain or shine and because this is a fundraiser, no refunds will be given.
