Montebello Heritage 5K/10K

Join us this Memorial Day for the Foothills Strong Run(formerly Fiesta Days Run), a community-powered event hosted by the YMCA of the Foothills on Monday, May 25, 2026. This meaningful day of movement and remembrance brings neighbors, families, and fitness enthusiasts together to honor resilience while supporting local families recovering from the Eaton Fire.

Participants of all ages and abilities can take part in one of four unique events: the Foothills Fastest 1 Mile, Dog/Human 1 Mile, 5K Walk/Run, and the Family 1 Mile Fun Run. Whether you’re racing for a personal best, walking with friends, or running alongside your four-legged companion, there’s a place for everyone at the starting line. All events meet at Olberz Park in La Canada Flintridge.

Presented by USC Verdugo Hills Hospital in partnership with the City of La Cañada Flintridge, this event goes beyond the finish line. Funds raised will provide YMCA memberships through 2026 for families impacted by the Eaton Fire — ensuring access to wellness programs, youth activities, supportive services, and a strong sense of community connection.

Lace up your sneakers and join the City of Paramount for our annual 5K/1K Run/Walk & Health and Wellness Fair! Whether you’re racing to the finish line or strolling with family and friends, this event is all about moving your body, feeling good, and celebrating a healthier Paramount together. Stick around after the run to explore wellness resources, fitness activities, giveaways, and fun for all ages. Best of all, every dollar raised directly supports the Paramount Education Partnership (PEP) Scholarship—so every step you take helps invest in our students’ future! 🏃‍♀️💙🎓

The start/finish, expo area and bib pick up will be located in the parking lot of Westland Real Estate Group/Long Beach Beer Lab, at 520 W Willow St, Long Beach, CA 90806.

There is special pricing of only $10 for youth 17 & under who want to do the 5k or the 10k.

The Half Combo is a total of 13.1 miles and includes a 5k and 10 Mile Entry. You will receive a half marathon time as well as a time in each event. You will also receive a bonus medal. There are no age group awards for the Half Combo.

The Wrigley River Run is the Long Beach Neighborhood Foundation’s signature event and is designed to promote community involvement, education, tolerance, and a healthy non-violent lifestyle. All funds generated from the event are used to benefit youth organizations in Long Beach and the surrounding communities.
