Montebello Heritage 5K/10K

The William Northrup School Fun Run is a schoolwide fundraising event that brings students, families, and our community together for a day of movement, teamwork, and school spirit.

Each student will participate in the Fun Run and has a personal fundraising page to invite friends and family to support their effort. Donations can be made as a flat amount or as a pledge to cheer students on as they run.

Funds raised will directly support:

• Classroom supplies and educational resources

• Enrichment programs and student activities

• Campus improvements and community events

Our goal this year is $35,000. With approximately 700 students participating, we’ve set a suggested goal of $50 per student. There is absolutely no minimum requirement, and every contribution, no matter the amount, is truly appreciated. Thank you so much for your support!

• 🍦 If we reach our $35,000 schoolwide goal, the entire school earns a Schoolwide Celebration Day

The Mark Keppel Alliance is a non-profit organization that advocates for Mark Keppel High School and fundraises in order to enhance the students’ education and engagement. Their mission is to raise money to support academics and sports programs that the school district cannot fund. Anyone who wants to do a 5 kilometer run/walk, support the students, and feel the community’s spirit surrounding such an event can do so at the Fear the Spear 5k. All proceeds generated from the run will benefit academics, sports, and the clubs that students participate in at Mark Keppel. We encourage everyone to be a part of the 5k experience and sign up!

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is hosting a 5K suicide awareness and prevention walk/run. Our mission is to bring law enforcement personnel, family, and friends together and raise awareness of the support and resources that are available to those who struggle with suicidal thoughts. It is important to break the stigma so that people do not suffer in silence and get the support they deserve because we are "Better together"! The event will highlight resources for law enforcement personnel and activities for participants to enjoy in the company of family and friends.

Pick out your favorite Superhero costume to join us in our all NEW Superhero Fun Run/Walk event on Saturday, May 2, 2026! Event will begin at Rosemead Park and route through the neighborhood just East of Rosemead Park.

Event will include a 50-YD Diaper Dash for ages 3-5 years old, 1K Fun Run/Walk for ages 6-12 years old and conclude with a 5K Fun Run/Walk!

Don't forget to swing by and visit our sponsors/vendor booths.

Preregistration is highly recommended.

May 3rd, 2026 - Join us for the fourth and final event of 2025 - 2026 SRLA Medal Series and complete the puzzle! Celebrate the end of the school year with SRLA students and leaders as we all run a victory lap with a fun 5K and a post event celebration.

Celebrate the SRLA Season - The SRLA Victory 5K will bring thousands of SRLA runners back together, again. You can be a part of SRLA history - your entry fee will support student runners on their life changing journey to the marathon.
