Get ready to join the fun as we roll out the Second Annual Kaweah Lake Bottom Trail Run - a fun and scenic adventure along the empty Kaweah Lake Bottom! After an incredible sold-out inaugural race (two weeks early!), we're thrilled to welcome back our runners for another unforgettable day on the trails.

Enjoy breathtaking views, perfect fall weather (God willing), and a friendly community atmosphere as you take on either the 5K or 10K course. Whether you're chasing a new PR or just out to enjoy nature with friends, this event is all about having fun, great company, and a little bit of post-race celebration!

Delicious post-race food, music, and fellowship await at the finish line - all while supporting a good cause. Spots will be limited again this year, so mark your calendar, signups open May 14, 2026. This year will be even better than last year.

All proceeds to benefit St. Anthony Retreat & Conference Center. St. Anthony is a peaceful and naturally beautiful setting for individual and group retreats, as well as both religious and secular conferences and gatherings. St. Anthony Retreat Center provides meeting space, dining and overnight accommodations for up to 100 guests. St. Anthony Retreat Center is located adjacent to the newly built Santa Teresita Youth Conference Center.     On 5/18/2026, the Porterville Military Academy athletic department is hosting a 5k/10k run/walk starting and finishing at Porterville Military Academy. Join us for a 5k or 10k dirt path course that is out and back. We are also hosting a children's 1/4 mile short course for your little ones to get in on the action. We look forward to seeing your whole family enjoy this community event.

    Virtual Race - If you live locally, you are encouraged to come to packet pickup. Otherwise, the race medal will be mailed to you after the race.

    We do not store any unclaimed race packets after the race. If you do not pick up your packet prior to the race, then it is considered forfeited. Leftover supplies are donated to volunteers and local charities.

The Porterville EAA Chapter 1547 has supported Porterville Military Academy Cadets in multiple facets by providing scholarships, overseeing more than 150 Porterville Military Academy Cadets flying an airplane, and mentoring our future aviators on the theories of flight.
