Randolph Rocks 5K and 1K Fun Run

Hosted by the Morris County Striders running club and the Roxbury Recreation department.

Race starts at 7:00pm on Monday, June 9th in front of the Horseshoe Lake Recreation Complex on Eyland Avenue. Packet pickup and race day registration starts at 4:30pm in the grounds of the Horseshoe Lake Recreation complex by Imagination Station.

Corporate, Club, and Family Team Competition:

Men, Women, and Co-ed divisions. Unlimited team members (all must register); top three will score. Teams must pre-register but add-ons are allowed on race day. Family entry fee covers parents and dependent children only. No B teams.

The Course: USATF-NJ certified loop course (#NJ23011JLW). Flat, very fast and worth 500 points in the USATF-NJ P Grand Prix.

Post Race Party: pizza, ice cream, water, Gatorade. Live DJ music. Random prize raffles from local merchants (must be present to win).

Who Benefits: All net proceeds from the race will benefit local charities and non-profit organizations: Roxbury HS Project Graduation, Roxbury Rescue Squad & Fire Department, Roxbury Social Services, Roxbury Interact Club, Roxbury Recreation Trust fund and Roxbury HS Trac/XC scholarships.

Our third annual charity 5K will be held on June 27, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. The event will take place at Horseshoe Lake in Succasunna NJ and all proceeds will go to TBD. Race day registration will start at 7:30 a.m. by the Imagination Station in Horseshoe Lake.

The Course is USATF-NJ certified (#NJ25010MNS) and will be a sanctioned event.

Post Race celebration will include a traveling petting zoo, bagels, coffee, cold beverages, and music.

Awards will be given to the top 3 Male and 3 Female runners.

Awards will also be given to the top Male and Female runners in the following age groups:

70-Over

Accepting registrations on the day of the event.

Children 10 and under are free. You DO NOT have to register your child/children if they are free. Strollers are welcomed.

Proceeds from the event will support the programs of the Market Street Mission, a non profit organization which ministers to the hungry, homeless and those struggling with addiction by meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs through a structured program which enables them to lead responsible, productive lives. We encourage you to show your support for those who are striving for recovery from drug and alcohol addiction and help provide the necessary programs and resources for those in need in the community.
