The Donor Dash is a 5K run/walk to honor the lives of organ and tissue donors, celebrate the lives of organ and tissue recipients, and recognize those who continue to wait for a lifesaving transplant.

These photos and messages will be displayed throughout race morning, honoring, celebrating, and recognizing the stories and inspiration behind our Donor Dash community. Learn more about the Dashboard here!

RIBBON CEREMONY: Please attend the on-stage program starting at 9:30 a.m. on race day to hear inspirational stories and recognize the different connections around organ, eye, and tissue donation. The 7/20 Foundation is proud to present the 5th annual Hero’s Journey 5k Run/Walk. This race makes its way through Aurora's City Center and the High Line canal trail with a start and finish in the 7/20 Memorial Reflection Garden. For those over 21, this race includes admission into the 7/20 Foundation's annual beer festival.

The Hero's Journey represents any person who faces a challenge, encounters struggles to overcome it, and returns home a Hero. We hope this 5k is a transformative experience as you run/walk together; whether you are a veteran runner or this is your first 5k. We chose to start the run across from the theater and end in the 7/20 Memorial Reflection Garden as your return home/finish line to honor the journey from tragedy to hope. It is the perfect place for each of us to honor and celebrate our collective accomplishment as well as our heroes from the July 20, 2012 tragedy.

Proceeds raised through the event will go toward the Zack Golditch Opportunity Scholarship.

Have you been dreaming of running the Boston Marathon? Need to shave a few minutes off your qualifying time? Or maybe you're just looking for the perfect course to set a new PR? Whether Boston is your goal or not, the Bound for Boston Marathon & Half Marathon is for you.

We're racing around Northfield High School, and the course is a 1-mile super flat & super fast loop! The Full Marathon is USATF Certified making it a Boston Qualifier!

This event is uniquely designed for serious runners. We will have water and an electrolyte drink at the aid table. Participants are welcome to bring their own personalized aid to place on the aid tables, allowing you to grab exactly what you need each time you pass. Many runners even bring a cheer crew to help hand out fuel and keep the motivation high throughout the race.

To maintain the best possible experience, this is intentionally a small, focused event, capped at just 75 participants.

We will have a great race shirt and finisher medals for all participants. Awards for both distances are in the usual 5-year age groups.

Fast course, flexible support, and a chance to chase your goals—this is the race that lets you run your perfect day.

By design this will be a smaller event, focused on getting you your fastest time.
