Kinetic Day Out
One kilometre. One community.
One incredible goal.
For 12 hours, from 5.00am to 5.00pm on the 31st of October, runners, walkers, families and the wider community will come together at the Carter Street Baseball Fields to complete as many laps as possible around our 1km loop.
The goal: 14,500km
Together, we're aiming to run the length of Australia's A1 Highway.
Last year, more than 830 people completed 8,300 laps. This year, we're going even further.
Run one lap or one hundred. Come for 20 minutes or stay all day. Participate solo, create a team or join an existing team - and move at your own pace.
Every lap supports The Beacon Truck, helping provide meals and support to people doing it tough in our local community.
Expect coffee, food, games, recovery areas, brand activations and an atmosphere that'll keep you coming back for another lap.
