    Summer Camp Youth Program

    The Get Fit Families 2026 Summer program is open to current Get Fit Families members and those who would like to learn more about the sport of triathlon.

    Youth Elite and Youth Age Group Summer Camp Experience:

    • Ages: 4 to14

    • Location: Zelienople Community Park

    • Time: 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

    • Cost:

    • $425/ Full-day camp per week

    • $1,499/ Full-day summer camp - 9 weeks (excluding overnight camp)

    • $1,899/ Full-day summer camp - 9 weeks (including overnight camp

    Includes all coaching at races and Nationals, with the exception of coaching

    at Clermont.

    Get Fit Families Junior Elite Summer Training Program:

    These will be half and full-day practice sessions for youth and junior elite athletes on the Get Fit Families Triathlon Team who will be training for the summer race season and Youth and Age Group Nationals. These young athletes are permitted to stay at camp all day to work with the younger athletes. Lunch and snacks included.

    • Dates: June 2 - August 14, 2026

    • Half-day practices: 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

    • Full-day practices: 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

    • Cost:

    • $1,450/ Full-day summer camp - 9 weeks (excluding overnight camp)

    • $1,850/ Full-day summer camp - 9 weeks (including overnight camp)

    Dates for All Camps:

    • June 2-5: Full-day or Full Day or Half Day triathlon or bike/run camp at Zelie Park. 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM Drop off. Pick-up at 3:00 PM

    • June 8 -10: 3 Full Day or Half-day triathlon or bike/run camp at Zelie Park. 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM Drop off. Pick-up

    at 12:00 PM or 3:00 PM. Prepare for the Jenny Lee Tri Cup.

    • June 11-12: Set-up and practice at Brady’s Run Park: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Please pack your own lunch.

    • June 15 to 19: Full and Half-day triathlon or Bike/Run camp at Zelie Park. 7:30 AM Drop off. Pick-up at 12:00 or 3:00 PM. Lunch provided.

    • June 22-26: Triathlon Camp and Cross-Country Camp. Drop off for triathlon camp at 7:30 AM. Drop off for UZC Camp is 8:00 AM. Pick up is 3:00 PM.

    • June 29 to July 3. Full Day or Half Day Triathlon Camp. Drop off at 7:30 AM and Pick-up at 3:00 PM. Lunch provided.

    • July 6-10: Full or Half-day camp at Zelie Park. 7:30 AM Full-day triathlon and bike/run camp at Moraine State Park. 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM Drop off. Pick-up at 3:00 PM. Lunch provided.

    • July 13 to 17: Full-day triathlon and bike/run camp at Moraine State Park. 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM Drop off. Pick-up at

    3:00 PM. Lunch provided.

    • July 21 to 24: Overnight or Day Camp Location: Pine Valley Camp, Ellwood City, PA. Adjacent to Brush Creek Park and a short bike ride to Riverside High School. Great roads to bike on, a track at Riverside High School to use. The camp has a nice pool and beautiful cabins. Best of all, we will make all the food at camp, so the kids will eat great all week.

    • July 27 to 29, half-day triathlon camp. NATIONALS WEEK. Zelie Park. Drop off at 7:45, pick up at 12:00.

    • August 4 to 7: Half-day triathlon or bike/run camp at Zelie Park. 7:30 AM Drop off. Pick-up at 12:00 PM. Lunch is not provided this week

    • August 10 to 14: Full-Day Ultimate Zelie Challenge Camp

    GFF Cross Country Camp

    • Age: 5 to 18

    • Dates: June 22-June 26, 2026

    • Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

    • Location: Zelienople Community Park

    • Cost:

    • $180/ 4 days Full Day, lunch included

    Overnight Triathlon Camp: New Location, New Week, @ Pine Valley Camp

    Includes lodging, meals, coaching by the GFF Staff. Use of the camp facilities, including the pool, trails, and lodge. There will be a girl's cabin and a boy's cabin area. Registration for the overnight camp will open January 20. The camp will focus on skills and necessary training for nationals. There will be an emphasis on open water swimming skills, cycling skills, running prep, visualization, and transitions. This will also be a team bonding and building week for the athletes. Pine Valley is located adjacent to Brush Creek Park. It's a short bike ride to Riverside High School. This will be a fun week of training, but most of all the amenities of a true summer camp.

    • Dates: July 21 to 24: Pine Valley Camp. There is also a day-camp option. Drop-off on Tuesday between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Pick-up Friday the 17th by 5:00 PM. Day campers will start on Tuesday with drop-off at 10:00 AM and pick-up between 4:00 and 5:00 PM. Lunch provided for day campers.

    • Time: all day and overnight. Day camp available.

    • Location: Pine Valley Camp

    • Cost: $600 Overnight Camp and $300 for Day Campers

    Moraine State Park Triathlon Camp

    • Ages: 4-18

    • Dates: July 13-17, 2026

    • Time: Drop-off at 7:30 to 8:00 AM and pick-up at 3:00 to 3:30 PM

    • Location: Pleasant Valley Beach Moraine State Park

    • Cost: $375 for the week.

    The Ultimate Zelie Challenge Youth Camp

    Obstacle courses, kids’ strength training, hiking, running, swimming, mud run challenges and more. This is a fun camp for all kids to enjoy.

    Youth Age Group

    Who is this for? Youth ages ten and under. This is for experienced athletes or those just starting the sport. They will focus on swim stroke development, building speed and endurance in the swim and the bike and bike handling skills while having fun in a competitive but supportive environment. We also believe these young athletes should have the goal of racing at Youth Nationals. Most of all, triathlon and summer camp should be fun.

    Youth Elites-in-Training

    11–14-year old’s: Who is this for? This is for all athletes preparing to participate in the draft legal Youth and Junior Elite races in the years to come. These athletes will get the opportunity to train with their older teammates to prepare them for their future success in draft legal racing. These athletes will also have the focus of racing at Youth Nationals and the goal of being in the Top 10 at Nationals. Swim stroke development, bike handling skills and a focus on running fast off the bike while having fun in a team environment.

    Youth and Junior Elites and Summer Collegiate Athletes

    13–21-year old’s: Who is this for? This is for all athletes racing at the draft legal Youth and Junior Elite level and traveling to the draft legal races. These athletes will receive extra training sessions, and more time spent with Level I and Level II Coaches. Sessions will focus on the demands of racing at the Youth and Junior Elite Level. This also includes assistance in preparing to talk to collegiate coaches and the set-up of documents to present to colleges.

    Price includes: all pool rental fees, all camps, (except the overnight camp), all summer training weeks, all coaching at races with the exception of Clermont and Sarasota. All coaching at the Cycling Oval, open water Monday night swims at Moraine and significant discounts on all GFF events.

    The annual Kids Tri-n' for a Cure is a kids helping kids event. All proceeds will go to (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) now known as Beyond Type 1 to help find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.

    All participants will receive a race shirt, finishers medal, goodie bag, fruit and snacks at finish.

    A great adventure for kids to Swim, bike or scooter, run their way to a cure!

    Event details and schedule

    The kids Tri begins at 6:30pm Packet pick-up begins at 5:30pm All participants must have a parent present to sign waiver to pick up packet.

    All kids events will take place solely on the Campus of Mt Pleasant High School in a closed safe enviroment.

    Age catagories will be:

    7 and under will be a 50 meter swim, 1 mile bike or scooter ride( no motorized scooters) and 1/2 mile run

    8-10 will be a 75 meter swim, 2 mile bike and 3/4 mile run

    11-13 will be a 100 meter swim, a 3 mile bike and a 1 mile run

    1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each catagory

    Packet pick up will be race day begining at 5:30pm

    Must register by June 5th to be guaranteed a t-shirt

    Solo racers must be at least 15 years old. Participants ages 12–14 may compete as part of a team, provided they do not complete the paddle segment on their own. E‑bikes are not permitted.

    Early registration opens April 1, 2026, and closes at 1 p.m. on October 8, 2026.
