Welcome back for round 2! This will be a family fun run/walk to benefit local teachers, students, and schools for the upcoming school year. All proceeds will go to the Kokomo Education Foundation. We would love to see as many kids, teachers, coaches and parents come out to Jackson Morrow on July 25th, 2026 at 8 am to support our hardworking community as they race into the 2026-2027 school year. We will also have a table setup for school supply drop off if anyone would like to donate any school supplies. We encourage everyone to wear their school colors or favorite school of their choice. All finishers will receive a finisher medal. You will also have the option to purchase a shirt at an additional cost as long as it is done by the specified date. There may be extras on race day, but it will be first come first serve and while supplies last.

There will be awards for 1st place Adult Male and Female Runner. 1st place Adult Male and Female Walker and lastly 1st place under 18 Male and Female runners.

Cost is by Age: The discount is applied at checkout. There will also be a discount for club members as well.

Packet pickup will be available 6:30am to 7:30am on Race Day. We will accept cash or check on race day.

Over the last six years, with your help, we've raised nearly $250,000 to benefit Rock Steady Boxing, American Institute for Cancer Research, Team Rubicon, K9s for Warriors, We Care for Orphans Fund, Safe Haven Baby Boxes, Human Resources Center of Edgar and Clark Counties, Best Buddies International, Bravely Women's Health, Little Angel Gowns and the Indiana Donor Network Foundation.

    Packet pick-up will be held Friday, June 5, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in front of Beck's Research Building on the north side of 276th St.

    Race day registration and packet pick-up will be available from 6:30 a.m. - 7:15 a.m. EST on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

    The 5K Run/Walk will start at 7:30 a.m., followed by the Kids Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. (or immediately following the completion of the 5K, whichever is earlier). Age group awards will be presented around 9:00 a.m.

Choose run or walk options from a 13.1 half marathon, 10k, or 5k that will take you along the scenic WABASH RIVER TRAIL located along the Wabash River.     CHIP TIMER: Crossroads Event and Timing ⏱️

    START/FINISH LINE: Friendship Hill Inclusive Playground 🛹

    TERRAIN: Race will be on mostly paved trail with less than a mile of the half marathon on crushed gravel

    PARKING: There are several parking lots around Friendship Hill Inclusive Playground. We will have “EVENT PARKING” signs in the lots that are available to our participants. A few parking lots include the Honeywell Center, Pathfinder Services, YMCA’s big lot, and Clear Water Solutions. Again - look for the “EVENT PARKING” signs. See the parking map <HERE>.

    BATHROOMS: There will be several portable restrooms available at Friendship Hill Inclusive Playground and at each water station along the course.

    WEATHER: The event takes place RAIN OR SHINE with no inclement weather backup date. Some of the best and most memorable runs take place on days that aren't 70, sunny, and with no wind. No matter what the weather forecast says, run safely and make the most of it because we are sure glad you are here!

    The Director of Wabash County Emergency Management monitors the weather conditions closely. Should the event need to be canceled due to unsafe weather conditions, a notification will appear on the website and be pushed via the Wabash County Adventure Series Facebook page. Please note that no refunds are issued due to the advance purchase of hospitality services and support resources.

    RESULTS: After crossing the finish line there will be a few Results QR codes near the finisher water station. The results are updated every couple of minutes. You can scan the QR code and or check the results on RUNSIGNUP.

    AWARDS: The awards ceremony will be at 11 AM near the start/finish line. Thanks to our Corporate Sponsor, Chittick Insurance, we offer cash prizes for the top 3 overall finishers for male and female athletes! Cash prizes will be awarded to the overall top female and male finishers for the Half, the 10K, and the 5K.

    **High school and college athletes are ineligible to accept cash rewards in accordance with IHSAA regulations. Should a high school or college athlete place first, second or third, in any of the WRTR races those funds will be donated to a local charity in their honor. It is up to the athlete to comply with all IHSAA regulations and not the responsibility of WRTR or its staff and volunteers to enforce said guidelines.**

    TERRAIN: The race will be either on the road or a paved path. There will be turnaround flags on the course for each race with verification mats to know when you have reached the halfway point for each race length.

    WATER STATIONS: There will be 4 water stations along the trail: located at 1 mile, 2 miles, 4 miles, 6 miles. As you return, runners will hit the same water stops. Portable bathrooms are available at each water station. Water and Gatorade will be available at each water station.

    Bananas, Gatorade, and water will be available at the finish line.

    WRTR GEAR: Event muscle tanks are provided at the event for registrations though the April 30th deadline and can be picked up during check-in. All muscle tanks are adult sizes. Participants can check back by check-in/registration at 11:15 AM to see if there are any extra pint glasses or tanks available at a first-come, first-served basis. Thank you in advance for your kind understanding.

    The White River Run showcases the beautiful paved trail system in Anderson as it meanders alongside the White River. The course is mostly shaded and features the wood boardwalk, the new riverfront area, and the Blue Bridge.

    Presented by Anderson Road Runners Club in partnership with Community Hospital Anderson's Community Foundation program, Community in Motion

    Anderson Road Runners is a 501(3)c organization that promotes Running and Walking in Madison County. ARRC provides the Roady Racers, our Free Kids Run Program in the summers.
