5k Fun Run Run Walk

Zip Code East Bay is proud to present the eighth annual Colusa Circle 5K, a race to raise funds for a charitable cause. We look forward to seeing you at the Colusa Circle this year for the family-friendly fun run (walk and roll, too)!

This year's race beneficiary is Tiny Village Spirit, our neighbor in Richmond. Their mission, as a local non-profit organization is to build emergency housing villages as an innovative model for addressing the housing crisis. Funds raised will go directly to support their work to transform the lives of unsheltered Richmond youth. They are at a critical phase in completing the Tiny House Village, Farm and Garden, which will double the number of dedicated emergency housing units serving young people, ages 18 to 24, in Richmond, CA.

Learn more at https://www.TinyVillageSpirit.org.

Register early (before Feb 28th) for a discounted rate!

We will also be collecting used running shoes and new socks for people and communities in need. Shoe and sock donations can either be dropped off at Zip Code East Bay prior to the event or on race day at the starting line.

What to (or what not to) Expect

  • This is a charity race - we are here to raise money and have fun, not to set any personal racing records.

  • The course is not USATF certified.

  • The race will take place RAIN OR SHINE!

  • There will be runners, walkers, rollers and strollers on the course: look out for one another and be respectful of your fellow racers.

  • ALWAYS stay on the sidewalk.

  • Respect all traffic signals, keep an eye out for signage and for volunteers with safety vests along the race route - they are there to keep you safe!

  • We will honor the first finishers (but everyone gets a high five for showing up and participating.)
