Happy birthday to the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge!

One of Trailnet's most iconic rides, the Bridge Birthday Bash presented by BJC HealthCare, is back for 2026! Join us on Saturday, April 11 to celebrate the 97th birthday of the legendary Old Chain of Rocks Bridge and experience a piece of St. Louis history.

We have routes planned for all comfort levels, including one for younger riders. Afterwards we'll have plenty of refreshing drinks to cool you down, and we'll celebrate with some delicious birthday cake!

The Bridge Birthday Bash is your chance to enjoy unique routes on relaxed back roads, bridges, and the Madison County Trails. This ride is perfect if you're new to biking or just got back into it, but if you're up for a challenge, we have you covered, too.

We'll have all the pertinent information on parking, schedule of the day, and specific routes closer to the ride!

Join Trailnet for a “bike bus” ride to and from the St. Louis Earth Day Festival! Meet us across from Yadier Molina Field in Wellston, where you can see a quick-build traffic calming installation made possible by Trailnet’s planning and advocacy. We will ride about 3 miles as a group to Forest Park, where you are encouraged to enjoy the festivities. Then, we will meet back up and return to our starting location!

This ride features the St. Vincent Greenway.

Registration for this ride is required. There is no cost, but donations are appreciated!

The Chain of Rocks Bridge has become the permanent home of our Spring Duathlon. Originally held on the historic Eads Bridge we re-located the event to a longer bridge and a more rural bicycle course. Participants will run from Start Line to the Mississippi River and back, followed by a flat, fast out and back bike circuit, returning to a final out and back run leg to the river and back with great views of the mighty Mississippi River. Awesome, right?!

Join us for the fourth Annual Achilles Hope and Possibility 5K and 1 mile! Achilles St. Louis pairs athletes with disabilities and volunteers/guides to participate in races throughout the year. This one race benefits the Achilles St. Louis chapter, and we would love for you to join us to run, walk, or roll! Come run, walk, or roll on the beautiful paths at Creve Coeur Lake Park, and experience a fast, flat, and wide course.

New this year, cyclists will have a chance to come ride alongside our Achilles tandem and adaptive cycling program at the conclusion of the 5K and 1 mile. New athletes who are interested in adaptive cycling and tandem are welcome to participate too.

Get ready for an exhilarating day of fun, teamwork, and adventure at The Great Bicycle Bottle Cap Challenge on June 6, 2026! This unique event will kick off at the Carlyle Lake Visitor Center in Carlyle, Illinois, bringing together bicycle enthusiasts and challenge seekers for an unforgettable experience.

Embark on a thrilling ride around town, navigating through scenic routes and charming neighborhoods. Participants will tackle a series of exciting challenges designed to test their creativity and problem-solving skills. Each completed challenge will earn a coveted bottle cap, which they will collect and bring back to the starting point.

As you pedal through Carlyle, you’ll not only enjoy the beautiful surroundings but also engage with local businesses and communities, making this event a celebration of town spirit and camaraderie. The more challenges you complete, the more bottle caps you’ll collect, increasing your chances to win fantastic prizes!

Upon returning to the Carlyle Lake Visitor Center, participants will exchange their hard-earned bottle caps for prizes and enter a drawing for an overall grand prize. This is your chance to compete for glory, test your limits, and create lasting memories.
