Step into the heart of historic LaSalle for the 9th Street Pub Spirits Dash, a 5K adventure that blends neighborhood charm, gothic atmosphere, and the unmistakable character of one of LaSalle’s most iconic pubs. This out‑and‑back run begins and ends at 9th Street Pub, taking participants north along Crosat Street to the quiet, storied gates of Oakwood Cemetery before returning to the warm glow of the finish line.

This is a run for walkers, runners, and anyone who loves a good local legend. Along the way, you’ll pass century‑old homes, brick ghost signs, and the peaceful entrance of Oakwood — a perfect midpoint photo stop and a signature Spirits Run moment.

    On Course:

    • It is your responsibility to know the course and run it safely.

    • Except for passing, participants should always remain on the far side of the roadway.

    Finish Line:

    • Water and refreshments will be available at the finish line.

    • Results will be updated throughout the event at Starved Rock Runners, Run Sign Up and Racing Expectations.

    Parking:

    • Parking is available on the East and West side of the Elks.
