๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ Introducing the INAUGURAL 2026 Meatballs on the Run 5K! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

Proudly sponsored by the Gillespie Cross Country Boosters

For the first time ever during the 72nd Annual Benld Italian-American Days, weโ€™re adding a little cardio before the carbs!

  • Date: Sunday, May 24, 2026

  • Start Time: 9:00 AM

  • Location: Benld City Park

Join us for the inaugural Meatballs on the Run 5K, whether youโ€™re a competitive runner, casual jogger, or firmly in the โ€œIโ€™m walking and thatโ€™s finalโ€ category โ€” everyone is welcome!

Why run? Itโ€™s simple:

  • ๐Ÿ‘‰ Get your workout in.

  • ๐Ÿ‘‰ Feel accomplished.

  • ๐Ÿ‘‰ Then reward yourself with a plate of FREE festival spaghetti later that morning.

We call that elite-level carb strategy. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ

  • Registration Fee: $35

  • Includes: Official event t-shirt (proof you earned your noodles!) ๐Ÿ‘•

Be part of year one of what might just become Benldโ€™s newest tradition. Come for the run, stay for the sauce, and celebrate 72 years of community and culture!
