    Bachelor Summit Trailfest is here! Wonderland Running is honored, thrilled, humbled AND STOKED to bring this unique, memorable, and resplendent alpine adventure for runners of all paces!This is a truly one-of-a-kind alpine celebration of foot-powered adventure in our stunning local backyard volcanic playground: Mount Bachelor! Bachelor Summit Trailfest is the perfect way to shine a bright light upon our Central Oregon wildscapes & communities. These races take place high up on the Central Oregon Cascade’s Mount Bachelor. They are rugged up high, runnable down below, and breathtakingly beautiful everywhere. We are grateful to be hosting the start/finish and race headquarters at both West Village Lodge at the base of the mountain & Pine Marten Lodge 1,400 feet above. These full facilities have restrooms, food, water, and festivities… as well as restaurants & cafes open for business! Of course, we will have three fully-stocked and fully festive aid stations. Use of the Pine Marten Chairlift is

    included in your registration too!There is plenty of parking at West Village Lodge. Car & RV camping will be available in the West Village Lodge parking area.     Bachelor Ascent presented by Nike ACG is a volcanic alpine trail racing celebration, featuring Mt. Bachelor’s famous scenery and rugged terrain, along with the mountain hospitality you've come to expect from Daybreak Racing. Race day features three insanely scenic and challenging loop courses of 50K, 28K, 16K and a straight up vertical Ascent 5K, with each race ascending to the 9000’ summit of Mt. Bachelor!

    Overview

    Welcome to the Suttle Lake Trailfest! Join us for an exciting weekend of camping and adventure on the breathtaking trails surrounding Suttle Lake. Experience the beauty of Fall as you participate in our 24-hour, 12-hour, and 6-hour events. Enjoy free camping, food, and a fantastic atmosphere filled with fun! The course is a 3.6 mile loop with 110ft of elevation gain per loop.

    Course Information

    Get ready for a fun challenge on this 3.6-mile loop around Suttle Lake! The trail is a well-maintained, non-technical trail that offers a soft forest floor and a few fun roots to navigate. There will be one aid station located at the start/finish area packed with a variety of sweet and salty snacks, water, soda, electrolyte drink, gels and warm food items. Plus, feel free to set up your own "aid station" nearby to refuel during each loop.

    Additional Info

    • Free camping available at South Shore Campground - Pacers are allowed at the halfway point for each race: 12 hours for 24-Hour 6 hours for 12-Hour 3 hours for the 6-Hour- Total mileage is calculated at the completion of each loop.- We will have a warming tent set up.

    Refund Policy

    There are no transfers to other runners. No exceptions. Runners who must cancel their registration more than 30 days prior to the race can opt for a 50% credit toward the same event the following year. If your cancellation is 30 days or less from your race day, there is no credit, no refund, no transfer. No exceptions. Please do not ask. In the event Alpine Running is forced to cancel a race for any reason and the event can not be feasibly rescheduled, refunds/race credits/rollovers will not be given. This includes, but not limited to, COVID-19, wildfires, air quality, natural disasters, permitting agency closures, etc. Rest assured, your registration fee will be supporting a great race beneficiary.
