The long wait is over, Vermont’s premier Cross-Country and Enduro stage race is BACK! With the amazing success of our inaugural Woodstock Triple Crown Throwdown last summer, we are bringing back this fundraiser that supports the Woodstock Area Mountain Bike Association (WAMBA)! This event is truly one-of-a-kind, featuring some of the best riding in Vermont! The Triple Crown Throwdown is an unparalleled adventure to support our amazing trails and to test your endurance. One day, three networks, three XC “Superstages”, 4-6 Enduro “Substages,” food and beer included, and all-day stoke and good times. All Triple Crown Throwdown proceeds will fund ongoing trailwork and future projects at WAMBA.

NEW FOR 2026 ~ MORE ENDURO STAGES + OVERALL COURSE ROUTE CHANGES

Welcome to the 2nd annual Valley Dirt Fest. Join us for a day of guided mountain bike rides throughout the vast Mad River Riders trail network. There will be rides for all ages, interests, and abilities. The $25 admission includes unlimited guided rides, one free shuttle ride and free snacks, water and sport drink to keep you fueled and hydrated throughout the day. (Admission is free for 18 and under.) Additional shuttle rides can be purchased for $10 each. Multiple swimming holes await to cool you off between rides. Hang out for the after party in Cousin's Meadow with live music and great beer. All proceeds support trail maintenance and construction throughout the network.

Reserve a spot on the shuttle through Bike Reg. But, not all rides are shuttled. Plenty of rides will pedal right out of Madbush Falls. Ask about the ride options at registration and we'll help you pick the best ones for you and your group.

8 to 10 AM - Registration, coffee, and breakfast at Madbush Falls

10 AM - Guided rides start and the first shuttle departs Madbush Falls.

10 AM to 2:30 PM - The shuttle runs continuously all day long to take the bite out of the climbs. Catch it at Madbush Falls or Stark Mountain Bike Works every half hour.

3 to 6 PM - After party in Cousin's Meadow with live music and an outdoor bar. Delicious food for sale at both Madbush Falls and Silk Road at Cousin's Brewing.
