    This 10K run is for those 40 years of age and older. $10 for nonmembers, free for SRRC members. Starts at the north parking lot of Clam Beach. It is age graded and your start time is based on your age, so it will be a staggered start with the oldest starting first.     The race is currently sold out and we are accepting registrations for the waitlist only. Please consider our sister race this fall, the Humboldt Redwoods Marathon. It uses the same course as the Avenue of the Giants Marathon and is produced by the same running club.

    The Avenue of the Giants is one of the most beautiful races in the world! It runs through old growth redwoods and follows a natural creek in the middle of a state park. Staged on "The Avenue of the Giants" in Humboldt Redwoods State Park, located in rural Northern California. Course is on a paved road that winds gently up hill but is mostly a flat, fast destination race. With little to distract you, the tall trees inspire the athlete in each of us to be strong. The course is certified and the marathon is a Boston Qualifying event.

    Atalanta's Victory Run

    According to Greek mythology Atalanta was the swiftest runner of her day.

    A running & walking event in Arcata, CA celebrating women and women's health Atalanta's Victory Run & Walk is held on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 10th at 10 am and features 2 mile & 5 mile courses starting and finishing at the Arcata Co-op.

    Runners, walkers, and strollers welcome.

    Proceeds benefit the Breast and GYN Health Project so register today and support the work they do in our community.

    Early bib and T-shirt pick-up Friday May 8th 5:30-6:30pm at the Arcata Co-op.

    Bib pick-up 8:30- 9:30 am on Sunday May 10th at the Arcata Co-op.
