Join us for the first annual LSUS 5K Dental Dash, a family-friendly event that will bring students, local families, and community partners together to promote oral health awareness and access to preventive oral healthcare resources. All funds raised from the Dental Dash will go directly toward providing free dental cleanings for LSUS students. This allows students on campus access to essential preventive care. Your participation in this race will also help raise awareness about the importance of regular dental cleanings and overall dental health. So, join us as we turn your steps into smiles on LSUS campus!

Check in starts : 8:00am

Awards start: 9:45am

Following the race runners will automatically be put into a drawing that will be held right before awards.

    Age Groups Awards: 18-under, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.

    Special Note: No bikes, skate devices, or dogs on the course. Baby joggers can be used but must start in the back.

    Refund & Race entry transfer policy:

    Refunds:

    We understand that things come up. If you can no longer run the race, and need cancel more than 30 days in advance, you will receive 100% refund. If you cancel between 30 days and two weeks prior to race day, you will receive 50% refund. We will not allow any refunds less than two weeks before race day. No exceptions.

    Race entry Transfers:

    We will allow race entry transfers to another person as long as the transfer is done at least two weeks prior to race day. There is a $10.00 charge for transfers. No exceptions.

    Our Story is Our Mission

    Holy Angels is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to providing individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities a path to self-fulfillment through education, empowerment, spirituality, independence, and work.

    At Holy Angels, clients are provided opportunities to live in the most independent settings in homes integrated in the community. For individuals with behavior or medical needs, our beautiful campus provides specialized, supportive programs. In addition, Holy Angels Academy serves individuals ages two to twenty-one with a combination of ABA therapy and education.

    Join us at Walker Place Park next to the Brookshire Grocery Arena for our annual Thomas LaValley 12.84 mile relay. Each entry into the race will provide a T-Shirt and a free entry into a raffle(item to be declared soon) and first 100 finishers will receive a medal.

    This event is in memory of Thomas LaValley and all others who lost their lives in the line of duty. Proceeds will be donated in honor of them.
