Join us for the Wendy Puff Eureka Spirits Run, a fun and relaxed 5K through the charming town of Eureka. This out‑and‑back route starts and ends at Wendy Puff, with a scenic stretch to a local cemetery before looping back for a post‑run celebration. Every participant receives and event T-shirt and a swag bag and raffles!! Come early shop the town then have a pre lunch 5k run with us!

All runners receive a drink and a bite from a special event menu when they return. Walkers, joggers, and runners of all paces are welcome — this is a community‑friendly, story‑driven event designed for fun, not competition.

Come enjoy a unique small‑town adventure and be part of our growing 102‑county Illinois Spirits Run Series.

    5K Run, 2 Mile Walk, and Disc Golf Tournament.

    The 5K race will have a finish-line clock, but will not have official timing/results

    Packet Pick Up on race day only from 5:15-5:45 PM

    Presentation begins at 6:00

    Run starts at 6:10 PM

    Walk starts at 6:20 PM

    Disc Golf starts at 6:30 PM

    Runners and walkers may also participate in the disc golf, and will rotate in after finishing the run or walk

    Ice cream social featuring Uncle Bob's Ice Cream starting at 7:00 PM by donation

    $25 for the walk or the run. $25 for Disc Golf (only $10 if also participating in the run or walk!) Shirts guaranteed if registered by May 20.

    We are gearing up for the 2026 Race with Your Heart on Saturday, June 13th at Eureka Lake.

    Eureka Lake Pavilion can be found near the intersection of Lake Road and Eastview Circle.

    Join us for a leisurely 1.5 mile walk on a flat surface around Eureka Lake or enter into one of our two challenging and competitive races. Our race course is beautiful; going through the woodlands along Eureka Lake and through local subdivisions. Both 5K and 10K distances available. Course is mostly flat with a couple of significant hills ascending Eureka Lake dam.

    We will have raffles, free pancake and sausage breakfast , along with a family-friendly post-race celebration! Plan to participate or bring your cheering section as everyone goes home a winner because it supports the Heartline and Heart House mission.
