May the Fourth Race Half Marathon, 10K, 5K

Join the South Davis Recreation Center for our annual Handcart Days Half Marathon, Frontier 5k & Pioneer Pete1k!

This event is a hoot and a holler! Pick an event (half marathon, 5k or 1k), and run with our Race Pacers in the Half and our Pioneer Pete in the 1K.

Race details will be send out via email, the week of the race. We offer some breakfast items to go along with our traditional oranges, bananas, and muffins.

Make this a yearly tradition for you and yours!

Packet Pick-up:

• Please only those participating in the race, come and pick up your packets OR have participating friends and/or family, pick up.

Friday, July 24th @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 p.m Half Marathon participants are required to pick up their packets, the day before.

Saturday, July 25th @ 5:00am - 6:00 am.

Race Start Times:

•HandCart Half Marathon: Official Start Time: 5:30 am *with Race Pacers

Early start @5 am. Designed for the slower runner (14 min/mile +) Not eligible for awards.

•Frontier 5K 6:30 am

•Pioneer Pete 1K 7:30 am

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble! Work that turkey dinner off ahead of time! Bring your whole family down for one of Davis County's most loved Thanksgiving Day traditions! The Turkey 10K, family 5K and Gobbler 1K is a great community event that every family should be part of.

We have turkeys for overall Male/Female awards in the 10k and 5k distances as well as pies for 1st-3rd division places. Our 1K Division will receive pies too!

Online registration will close on 11/24 at 11:59 pm. Race day registration will be available during packet pick-up times. Race day registration prices will apply to day of registrants.

Packet pickup: Wed., Nov. 25th @ 5:30pm - 6:30pm pm and on race day Thur. Nov. 26th @ 6:30am - 7:30am

Race Start: 10K & 5K @ 8:00 a.m..

if you are registering Nov 24th you are not guaranteed a shirt!

Be sure to arrive early to accomodate for parking and traffic. We encourage racers to carpool when possible.
