The Sprint: 300meter swim, 9 mile bike, 5k run
The Super Sprint: 50 meter swim, 4 mile bike, 2 mile run
The Duathlon: 1 mile run, 9 mile bike, 5k run
The Aquabike: 300 meter swim, 9 mile bike, DONE!
If any of this seems daunting we have RELAY options for you and your friends. Yes, you and your friends can choose which part of the race to do and you can ALL cross the finish line together!

All swimming takes place in Historic Kelly Pool...NOT THE Schuylkill River
The bike portion takes place on picturesque Martin Luther King Dr alond the river and is CLOSED to vehicular traffic.
All running takes place around the Please Touch Museum and the Horticultural Center in West Fairmount Park

The 39th Annual The Ben to The Shore Bike Tour on Sunday, July 26th, 2026 is a charity bike ride that raises money to provide necessary financial relief for the families of fallen or critically injured first responders and cultivate positive relationships and interactions between police officers and the children in the communities they serve.
There are 3 route options available: the full 65-mile route from Philadelphia to Atlantic City; the 30-mile route from Hammonton, NJ to Atlantic City; and the 10-mile route from Galloway, NJ to Atlantic City. Upon arrival at the finish line at the Showboat Hotel, riders are greeted by friends and family, volunteers and supporters where we celebrate their amazing physical accomplishment and raise additional funds at our legendary after party.
More than just a bike ride, it’s a day of unforgettable memories! Cruise past the city’s most iconic sights and scenes, enjoying live music and entertainment all along the way!
Our flat, easy-to-navigate 20-mile course is perfect for first-timers, casual bike riders, and avid cyclists alike! Cruise at your own pace, stop for a pic at any one of our many photo spots, and recharge and refuel at our conveniently located rest stops throughout!
And don’t forget about our EPIC Finish Festival by the Art Museum and Rocky Steps, complete with food trucks, beverage garden, live entertainment, and many more reasons to smile!
