Great Breweries Marathon

Founded in May 2020 amid the challenges of the pandemic, Mechelen Running Crew has grown into a welcoming community in the historic Belgian city of Mechelen. The crew, now a medium-sized group, brings runners of all levels together to share motivation, build endurance, and enjoy the rhythm of weekly runs in the lush surroundings of Vrijbroekpark. Their relaxed, inclusive atmosphere emphasizes encouragement over competition, fostering friendships that begin on the very first run. Offering multiple paces—from steady Wednesday evening runs to varied Sunday sessions—the crew ensures everyone can join at their own pace. Rooted in Mechelen’s vibrant culture and scenic charm, the group partners with local fitness initiatives and seasonal events, weaving running into the city’s social fabric.
