Kid’s Dash is a fun, untimed dash for ages 10 and under. Registration includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a specially crafted medal for our youngest runners! (If your child wants to run the kid’s dash without swag, they’re welcome to run free on race day!)
Register by midnight on Thursday, two Thursdays before race day, to guarantee your shirt!
In partnership, The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region and the Colorado Springs Sports Corp want to bring you the Rocky Mountain 5K presented by School District 11, the official 5K of the Rocky Mountain State Games! The Rocky Mountain 5K will be giving back to families through the YMCA’s life changing programs and supporting CSSC’s Rocky Mountain State Games initiatives to provide sport opportunities for athletes of all ages and athletic abilities.
LOCATION: This is an out and back mostly flat 5K run/walk that will start at America the Beautiful Park and then heads north on the Pikes Peak Greenway trail for 1.55 miles until the turn-around.
Each participant will receive a swag item!
The top three male and female competitors in each division will bring home the gold, silver, or bronze medals.
Award Ceremony will be held near the DJ in Vendor Village with top 3 overall starting at 10:00 a.m. and then Division winners starting shortly after.
Kids 12 and under can participate in the FREE Sasquatch Shuffle 1K at 7:30 a.m. and receive a finisher ribbon.
Dogs welcome! Furry Friends receive a dog bandana.

Furry Friends*: $15 (Look for the Furry Friend "add on" during registration)
Furry Friends are welcome to run alongside their registered human in the 5K with the Furry Friend add-on. All furry participants must be leashed, current on vaccinations, and well-behaved. Human companions are responsible for cleaning up after their furry friends. Be sure to select the Furry Friend add-on during registration.
Free Parking: There is limited free parking across from the north end of the park off Cimino Dr. Additional Parking off S. Sierra Madre St. You can use the Olympic Museum Bridge to access the park. Accessible parking spaces will be available along Cimino Dr.

Race Morning Packet Pick Up will be held next to start line from 6:45 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.

All ticket sales are final. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations, postponements, or interruptions caused by weather, natural events, acts of God, or any circumstances beyond the control of Colorado Springs Sports Corporation (“Sports Corp”).
Sports Corp reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to offer credits or ticket transfers in special cases — however, these are not guaranteed and are determined case by case.
If you believe a refund is warranted and falls outside the stated policy above, your request must be submitted in writing within 14 days after the event date. Refund requests received more than 14 days after the event will not be considered.
By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and accept these terms as part of your agreement to attend the event.

Come celebrate the 13th Annual Colorado Springs Marathon Saturday, October 3, 2026! Whether you are a seasoned runner or looking to tackle your first 5k, we have you covered with 4 events to choose from. Beginning and ending on Vermijo at the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, the Full Marathon will head West on Colorado Ave and drop into America the Beautiful Park. From there, the route will head north on the Greenway Trail through Monument Valley Park. The Greenway Trail is approximately 15 feet wide, cement for the first mile and hard pack pea gravel before the path turns to a paved surface through the Greenway and Santa Fe trails before turning back and returning the same way back to the Finish Line where the celebration awaits!
