    Hail Peeps, to the "invitation only" Centurion Daze 3 Day Ultra Trail Race FYI: Update: "If I do Buckle in October's Forbidden, will I have a cheance for the 2027 Centurion Daze? The answer is YES ! Hail, 100 mie "Buckle" Runners of the Centurion and the Forbidden! (Please:email the Race Director at [email protected] and give the date of the 100 mile achievement.): FYI: the Centurion Daze will be happening for on June 24, 25, 26, 27 in 2027, starting at Noon on the 24th till Noon on the 27th or 72 Hours (3 Days). This Centurion Daze 3 Day Ultra Trail Race will be in celebration of 10+ years of running the roosevelforestultras. It will be by "invitation only" and limited to 50 Runners/Hikers. Initial invitations will go to anyone who has "buckled" at the Centurion or the Forbidden over these past years. A limited amout of Guess invitiaions will also be allocated by the Race Director. There will be a 100 mie 33 hour buckle, a 150 mile buckle and a 200 mile buckle, hopefully. More information to come as we move forward. Now, here is the info for last year's Centurion: A great race to train for the Forbidden Forest or Ghost Train Trail Race or any other 100 miler. Do as many miles or hours, heck do a couple of marathons back to back, etc., as you wish over single and double track with typical New England trails of roots, rocks and rolling hills on a 2.5 mile loop.You stand at the edge of an endurance conquest, where only the strong of heart and relentless of spirit dare to push forward. Roosevelt Forest is your proving ground, the trail your battlefield, and time itself your greatest adversary.In the grand tradition of the Centurions, this is no ordinary test of

    endurance—it is a war against the limits of mind, body, and soul. Race Day Complete 100 miles in 33 hours: The top 3 male and female runners will be those who reach 100 miles the fastest within 33 hours.Regardless of podium placement, all runners who reach 100 will get a buckle! All runners, hikers, walkers and crawlers will receive a Forbidden Forest Commendation upon completion, Course: The Centurion Ultra features a 2.5 mile loop with 193 feet of elevation gain per lap. The course consists of classic New England terrain with roots, rocks, and rolling hills.Tough, doable and memorable. Race Logistics: Bib & SWAG Pickup: Begins at 7:00 AM at the pavilion on Saturday June 27thTent set up: Tents, canopies, and personal crew stations can be set up in the “rest and recuperation area between 3-6 pm on Friday June 26th. This is located at the field adjacent to the pavilion and picnic area (note: not responsiblefor theft or damages). There can be absolutely NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING on Friday night

    per Town Ordinance. Parking: Please do not enter the forest parking lot before 6:45 AM on Saturday to allow for final setup. Park efficiently, as space is limited. Larger vehicles should use the side lot (no RVs).Aid Station: The pavilion is the only aid station. The loop is 2.5 miles, so plan accordingly. Dogs are permitted as spectators, but must be kept on leash. Restrooms: Porta potties are conveniently located nearby.GPS Address: 700 Peters Lane, Stratford, CT. Registration: This Ultra is limited to 50 Participants, meaning you are not one of 200 to 400 participants, so this is “your personal race for your personal best”.To maintain the competitive integrity of the event, registration is final.     FROSTY GOES OFF ROAD !

    Your Frosty Forest 5K Start time is 10 AM. This adventure occurs at the Town of Stratford's own Roosevelt Forest, giving you a wonderful opportunity to "get off the road" and onto the trails with nature and who knows, maybe we can see Frosty running, too? Yes, you can dress up in any Holiday costume and run, however a little trail experience is helpful. Novice to trails? A great place to start! You can choose to run, jog, hike or walk the 5K and visit a new panorama with the promise of the "Holiday Spirit " moving along with you. There will be an award for the 3 fastest runners Men and Women ! All completing the course will receive a custom designed finisher's commemerativeA portion of the proceeds will include the Veteran's Museum, Stratford Library and others. Also, many thanks to the "paid" Volunteers for their time and effort; well worth the price in the support of the entrants. They and I thank you for registering.
