Please join Pate Rehabilitation in celebrating Brain Injury Awareness Month this March by helping us raise awareness and funds for the Brain Injury Association of America – North Texas Chapter.

We are excited to host a 5K Fun Run on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. This off‑road course winds through the scenic pastures of Pate Rehabilitation’s Brinlee Creek Ranch in Anna, Texas. 3325 Pate Way Anna, Texas 75409

All proceeds will benefit the Texas Chapter of the BIAA. Your support helps fund programs that advance awareness, research, treatment, and education—and ultimately improve the quality of life for individuals and families affected by brain injury.

Packet pickup will take place on race day at 8:00 a.m. at Pate Rehabilitation at Brinlee Creek Ranch.

If weather interferes, the event will be rescheduled.

We’re excited to offer a friendly competition for our local rehabilitation partners, with teams of 3–4 people. It’s a great chance to show your team spirit, have fun, and help raise awareness for brain injury.

    The event this year will take place at the Van Alstyne High School located at 700 Collin McKinney Parkway, Van Alstyne, Texas. It is going to be a year to remember and as always, this event is perfect for the whole family! This is a FUN & FLAT course!

    Entry fees are non-refundable, including the event of inclement weather. If cancellation occurs, your entry fee will be considered a donation to VAEF.

    Packet Pick Up will be held Friday May 1st from 3PM- 7PM in the Van Alstyne Administration Building, located at 1096 N. Waco, Van Alstyne or you can pick up the morning of the event by the starting line between 6:45am-7:45 am at the race.

    *T-shirts and Medals will not be mailed to those who do not attend.

    *T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after April 25th.

    ☀️ National Trails Day is a nationwide event to encourage people to discover their local trails and celebrate spending time outdoors. What better way to celebrate than enjoying the beautiful trails in Trinity Falls?!

    🏃 Registration for the Trinity Falls Trail Day 5k is $30 and includes entry into the chip-timed racecourse, an event t-shirt, a Trinity Falls Trail Day 5k bib, and an awesome finishers medal! The 5k start horn will blow at 9am! Attendees can arrive to the festivities at 8am!

    ☀️ The event is family-friendly, and strollers are welcome! We even have a prize for the first-place stroller strider!

    🏃 CASH prizes will be awarded to the Top Overall Males and Females: First Place ($200), Second Place ($100), and Third Place ($50) AND the First Place Stroller Strider ($50).     Every year since 2020, during our organization's Celebration of Life Cancer Awareness Event weekend, we host a 5K walk that began in the midst of the pandemic. Its purpose is to remind everyone how important life is and to encourage regular exercise while promoting awareness of critical health issues such as cancer, sarcoidosis, diabetes, and now COVID-19.

    We come together to walk in the city of Melissa, Texas—where our organization is based—to raise awareness and show support within the community we serve. We invite you to sign up and join us for this year’s walk on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 8:00 AM. The walk will begin at Melissa Lake Park in Melissa, TX (please note, if the starting location changes, you will be notified in advance via email).

    If you are unable to attend in person, you can still participate by signing up, making a donation, and completing the 3-mile walk in your own neighborhood.
