The 2nd annual Gothard Acres 5K Fun Run/Walk.

No frills simple fun run/walk. No race bibs, t-shirts or medals. $25 Adults. $5 for Kids under 18.

100% of all net proceeds will be donated to benefit the Sickles High School Athletic Booster Club to assist with the purpose of strengthening the status of the overall athletic programs and support the financial needs of school teams.

The Lutz Independence Day 5k and 1-Mile Fun Run is a family event celebrating Independence Day in Lutz, FL. The race is held annually on July 4th preceding the Lutz Independence Day Parade. The 5K sells out every year, don't wait to register!

Schedule of Events:

Race Day - July 4th

• 6:30-7:00am bib pickup

• 7:30am 5K race start (chip timed)

• 8:15am 1 Mile Fun Run start

• 8:30am Begin Awards

• NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION

• Any packets not picked up prior to race day, will be available on race morning from 6:30-7:00am

Event Details:

• Parking: All runners should park South of Lutz Lake Fern Road or East of US 41

• This event will have online registration only. No cash or day of registration accepted.

• Awards: Medals to all finishers of either distance

• Only register for both events if you plan to complete the 5k in under 45 minutes as the 1-mile starts at 8:15am

• Trophies: 5K- First overall male/female; First masters male/female; top 3 in 5-year age groups 0-9 thru 70+

• Shirt sizes guaranteed if registered by 6/15/26. Any late registrations we will do our best to accommodate sizing.

• A portion of the proceeds will be distributed to the Lutz Community. 2025 recipients include: Lutz School House, Lutz Nature Park, Sunlake High School Cross Country, Hillsborough Harriers

Surface: Grass + Road

Finish: Final ¼ mile on the stadium track!

Get ready for a true cross country experience! The Sunlake campus course offers a dynamic mix of grass and road, with an exciting final quarter-mile finish on the stadium track — perfect for spectators to cheer runners across the line.

Men: Beat the All-Time Pasco County Cross Country Record of 15:14

Women: Beat the Female Course Record of 18:44 set by Abigail Williams

Anyone who breaks one of these records will receive:

Pre-registration by July 31st is $25. Price increases to $35 on August 1st. Race-day registration is available for $40. Dri-fit t-shirts guaranteed to those who register by July 31st.

High school, middle school, youth club, and college teams are welcome to run at the discounted team rate of $100 (no t-shirts, up to 10 runners, over 10 add $10 per runner). Contact us for team sign-up.

Donations go towards funding the team's uniforms and apparel, travel expenses, and training equipment (which include running/racing shoes).

Run. Walk. Wobble! BayCare Wobble Turkey Trot (Formerly The Original Wiregrass Wobble Turkey Trot 5K™) presented by BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel is coming back for another race at Tampa Premium Outlets!

Every finisher will receive a long sleeve tech-shirt (Shirts and sizes are guaranteed if preregistered before November 1, 2026. After this date, shirts will be available while supplies last!), bib, custom finisher medal made of solid American steel, as well as a rockin' good time with friends and family members!!

This is a festive time of the year, so dress the part! We love seeing all the pilgrims, turkeys, turkey hats, you name it! You just add to the festivity of the morning!

The BayCare Wobble Turkey Trot at Tampa Premium Outlets and will again support one of our original beneficiaries, the New Tampa Family YMCA, Open Doors Financial Assistance Program.

You can participate as an individual or on a team. Age group and overall awards will be awarded to the top 3 in men's and women's 5-year age groups, as well as to the first place men's and women's finishers in overall, masters and grand masters categories. A special prize will also be awarded to the team with the most registered runners and walkers, so invite everyone you know to join!

Thursday, November 26 - from 6-6:45am - at Tampa Premium Outlets (2300 Grand Cypress Drive, Lutz, Florida 33559-at the mall entrance)

Male & Female awards will be given to first place Overall, Masters (40+), and Grand Masters (50+), as well as to the top 3 in standard Male & Female 5-year age groups (0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24 up to 80+).
