Hirakata February Ecomarathon

AFE Osaka is the vibrant and active chapter of the renowned Tokyo-based Athletics Far East crew, located in the heart of Osaka, Japan. Inspired by the legendary 1970s US track and field club "Athletics West," they share the AFE philosophy of pursuing a holistic, running-based lifestyle. They bring together a diverse community of creative professionals and individuals from all walks of life, united by a shared passion for running and the sense of community, self-discovery, and growth that it fosters.

Community Run

Founded in August 2024 by Shoma Miyamura, RNK Running Club offers a fresh, inclusive running community in Osaka’s Rinku Town, near Kansai International Airport. With about 25 members, the club draws inspiration from Western running culture to create a welcoming space for locals, travelers, and newcomers alike. RNK emphasizes consistent progress over perfection, promoting running as a holistic lifestyle that nurtures physical, mental, and social well-being. The club organizes regular, easy-paced runs ranging from 5 to 15 kilometers along scenic routes along Osaka Bay, fostering growth and camaraderie among runners of all levels. Its open, free membership policy fosters accessibility and cultural exchange, reflecting Osaka’s vibrant, diverse spirit. Positioned at a major international gateway, RNK serves as a unique meeting point that bridges local and global running communities, enriching Osaka’s active scene with a fresh, community-driven outlook.
