  Island’s Wolfpack began in January 2013 in Bali, Indonesia, when 12 friends united by a love for running and island life started meeting regularly for runs and coffee. Today, this medium-sized crew of around 40 members embodies a spirit of connection and mutual support, welcoming runners of all levels to explore Bali’s vibrant urban energy alongside its natural beauty. They gather twice weekly in Denpasar and Sanur for varied runs that blend interval training, road, trail, and cross-country routes, often followed by coffee sessions that strengthen their community bonds. The name reflects their dual identity: “Island” honors Bali’s inspiring environment, while “Wolfpack” symbolizes strength through togetherness. Their runs take in diverse landscapes, from Seminyak’s beaches to Ubud’s rice terraces, celebrating the island’s scenic and cultural richness. By participating in events like the Bali Marathon and Bali Hope Ultra, Island’s Wolfpack connects local running with Bali’s broader cul tural heartbeat, fostering a welcoming community where every step is shared. Founded by the visionary Kania, the crew's name symbolizes freedom, opportunity, and a new chapter. Their mission is to provide a safe and supportive haven for women of all running levels, from beginners to seasoned "cheetahs."
