Restoration House Ministries' trail race features permanent structures, pop up challenges, and mud pits that will not only give you a great work out but also satisfy that inner desire to OVERCOME! These same obstacles that will be used for health, well-being and competition will be a symbol of how we can overcome all of our obstacles with God's love working though our community. And in doing so, you will be supporting young women & men in overcoming their obstacles of trauma, abuse and addictions and helping put the homeless in our community on a path to restoration.

The first 3 finishers in adults (20yr+) and youth (<20yr) racing in each category (5k, Obstacle 5k) will be awarded and recognized at closing ceremonies.

The path is on and off road and is considered a trail run. Follow this link for a printable map & reminders. Path is accessible by foot year-round and is mowed starting in February.

Workout gloves will help you on the pressure wall and monkey bars. Teammates can also help you complete an obstacle. You can skip an obstacle for 20 burpees. If you can do neither, surrender your bracelet to the obstacle volunteer. You can still complete the race but just will be unable to receive an award. Teams must complete the race and finish together--no one left behind.

Join the Victoria Police Department for the third annual Foot Pursuit 5K & Donut Dash, benefiting the Victoria Police Foundation. Feel free to bring your strollers, but please leave your pets at home.

Join VARRA on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 7:30 AM at Riverside Park for a fun 5k! This year, the Sparkler Kids 1 Mile run will begin at 8:15 AM to allow for kiddos to participate in the fun as well!

For $30, you can participate in this firecrackin' good time of a race! Prices increase to $35 on Monday, June 1 and will go up to $40 on race day. Registration will end at 7:15 AM race morning. Paid VARRA members will receive a 20% discount, which is automatically applied at checkout.

Packet pickup will only be offered from 6:30 AM - 7:15 AM the morning of the race, Saturday, July 4th at Riverside Stadium. Bib assignment will happen during packet pickup at the check-in table setup with volunteers.

Race day parking is at the Riverside Stadium Parking Lot.

The race is chip timed with Overall Male, Overall Female, and age group awards 3 deep with 10 year age increments.

On Saturday, October 10, 2026, Citizens Medical Center will host the10th Annual Citizens Run Against Cancer Half-Marathon and 5K in Victoria, Texas! All proceeds from this event benefit local patients who are battling cancer.

As the proud home of the Kathryn O’Connor Regional Cancer Center, Citizens Medical Center cares for a large population of the region’s cancer patients with a comprehensive cancer program, expert physicians, a compassionate, knowledgeable staff, and advanced screening and treatment technology.

Since its inception in 2017, more than $150,000 has been raised to benefit local cancer patients through the Citizens Run Against Cancer. By registering for and/or sponsoring this event, you are truly making a difference in the lives of local cancer patients.

Audience:

The race route was designed to showcase the heart of Victoria, starting in Downtown Victoria, through Riverside Park, and ending at DeLeon Plaza. Visitors are encouraged to stay the weekend and explore all that Victoria has to offer, including camping, fishing, kayaking, shopping, and historical sightseeing. With more than 1,500 participants, volunteers, and spectators, you don’t want to miss out on being a part of this inspiring event, while also supporting a worthy cause.

About the Beneficiary:

All proceeds from the Citizens Run Against Cancer will remain local and benefit patients who are battling cancer.

While we cannot offer refunds in the case that the event is canceled, we hope that the options below will help you keep the Citizens Medical Center Run Against Cancer as part of your 2026 goals. The Citizens Medical Center Run Against Cancer is a yearly fundraiser and commit financially to all the expenses related to a race well in advance of the actual race date. Thursday, 10/08/2026 & Friday, 10/09/2026 4pm-7pm at the Citizens HealthPlex, 9406 NE Zac Lentz Pkwy, Victoria, TX 77904.

Race Day Information:

Half marathon and Relay begin at 7:30am. 5K begins at 8:00am.

Team contest & parade at 7:45am to show off your creative costumes and team names. Awards will be given for most spirited, creative name & best costume.

Maximum time allowed for the Half Marathon and Relay is four hours.

Parking will be available in One O'Connor Plaza parking garage before 6:30am. Also, parking is available on numerous side streets surrounding the course.
