Here is a new event series all about KIDS GIVING IT A GO!

Three races designed just for riders aged 7–12 (14 for ladies) on grade 3 or similar trails (all features either rollable or have ride arounds). The race difficulty gets harder as the season goes on. This is the perfect introduction for up and coming kids to experience timed race runs in a safe and inclusive environment.

This race series is about having fun and being introduced to racing. There are Girls and Boys podiums for all age categories, spot prizes to be won and a professionally managed event. Fun times on bikes.

Time: Timings are approximate and may be adjusted based on number of entrants.

• 8am-9am - Shuttles to Event Hub from Waipa Carpark.

• 8am-9.30am - Registration

• 9.30am-12pm - 2x Practice Laps

• 12pm-2.30pm - 2x Race Runs

• 2.30pm-3.30pm - Shuttles from Event Hub to Waipa Carpark

• 2.15pm - Prize giving

Price includes: Carpark Shuttles, Practice and Race Shuttles (Athletes Only), Race Plates, Timing, Professional Event Medic Coverage, Professional Event Management.

RACE RULES & PLAN

RULES:

• The minimum age is 7 years old.

• Age is as of 31st December of the year of the series.

• A delegated Guardian (16+) or Parent must be present in the forest, accessible and contactable for the duration of the event.

• Kids must not race on e-bikes.

• Parents are NOT permitted to ride the race track with their kids during the event.

• Participants and their Guardians / Caregivers / Parents agree to the Terms and Conditions, Rules and Code of Conduct.

RACE DAY:

• We'll provide carpark shuttles in the morning to the Event Hub and out again after the Race Runs. These are for parents and riders however we recommend riding in and out if you would like flexibility.

• Format is two practice runs in the morning and two timed race runs in the afternoon.

• Entry includes all four shuttle uplifts for KIDS ONLY.

• Prize giving will be as soon as the results are available.

• The event will operate in the rain and will only be cancelled if the conditions are unsafe (such as high winds).

We’re bringing the Rotorua enduro series back to its roots—good times with good mates, racing (serious but not too serious) on some of the best trails on the planet.

Whether you’re here to test your speed or just keen for a cruisy day in the forest with your mates, the Chur Enduro Series is all about fun, flow, and that classic enduro vibe.

In short:

1. We do a course release announcing the race stages about a week prior to the race with non-mashal/unofficial practice on Saturday, race day Sunday.

2. You make plans for what order you want to race those stages in, which you can change on the day if you want to

3. You and your mates show up either the day before or the day of, collect your race plate and timing chip, line up on the start line, make your way to to your race stages

4. Complete these within the allocated timeframe, return back to the race hq, grab a drink, tell war stories and see who wins what at prize giving.

GIANT LEGENDS ENDURO SERIES

ROTORUA | AOTEAROA NEW ZEALAND

One of the most iconic mountain bike events ever created in Aotearoa New Zealand is back!

The iconic Cateye Moonride is making its return to Rotorua and it’s set to light up Waipa with good vibes, fast laps, and full-moon energy!

The 12-hour race kicks off at 10am, followed shortly after by the 6-hour race. You’ll be looping a 5–7km course through the world-class Whakarewarewa Forest, with options to enter as a relay team of 2-5 or step up to the ultimate challenge, go solo for 6 or 12 hours.

There’s also a dedicated e-bike division for those who want to bring the power to the forest.

We have added extra layers of competition to bring the Moonride back include:
