Race day packet pickup will take place at the Longport fire house at 2305 Atlantic Ave from 9am-1pm and 4pm-6pm.

2026 course will be a point to point event. Event will begin at 6:30pm at 11th Ave & Atlantic Ave @ the end of Longport, NJ. Course will run north on Atlantic Ave to Pelham Ave. Finish line will be at Pelham Ave.

Online Registration Price For The Event:

  • $20.00 - You must register before June 20, 2026
  • $20.00 (10 & Under - $15.00)
  • $25.00 - June 21, 2026 to closing of online registration at midnight on 7/3/26
  • $25.00 (10 & Under - $20.00)

  • If you aren't running the event but only want a race T-shirt you must signup by June 20, 2026.

Please sign-up online to prevent a backlog of paper registration on race day.

Race Day Registration will be at Longport Fire House at 2305 Atlantic Ave on Race morning only. From 9:00am to 1:00pm. Race day price - $25.00 (10 & Under - $20.00)

Race Day Bib & Shirt Pickup Times:

  • 9:00AM - 1:00PM and 4:00pm - 6:00PM

  • 6:30PM: 1 Mile Run

  • 7:15PM: Post-Race Awards Ceremony, Include hot dogs and drinks to all participants back at the Longport Fire House.

Margate’s annual July 4th Fireworks Show, from the Margate Mothers’ Association will once again take place on the beach at Huntington Avenue. Bring your beach chairs, blankets and kids. The fireworks will light up the sky at approximately 9pm.

    DISTANCE: 5km Run & 1 Mile Walk

    Races will Start and Finish on Haven Avenue at 19th Street on an out and back course. Race will travel south down the Bike Path. Race starts and finishes at the same place.

    RACE TIME & REGISTRATION: 5k race will go off at 8:00 AM with 1 Mile Walk going off right after. There will be two times for registration and packet pick up. Friday (7/24) from 5pm-8pm in Ocean City Community Center Atrium at 1735 Simpson Avenue and Saturday (7/25) Race Day registration begins at 6:30 AM on the 19th Street Basketball Courts behind OC Intermediate School. Restroom portable toilets will be available on site. Please note 1 Mile walkers do not need a race bib as the 1 Mile walk is not timed. Walkers can pick up shirts Friday or Saturday.

    5k PRIZE DIVISIONS: Overall Male & Female Winner win a special prize. After that there will be age group medals for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd per gender in the following age groups:

    14 & Under | 15-19 | 20-29 | 30-39 | 40-49 | 50-59 | 60-69 | 70-79 | 80+

    Please note awards are for 5k Participants Only

    FEE: $30.00 for pre-registration by 7/6/2026 (includes shirt)

    $35.00 for registration 7/7/2026 through race day registration (includes shirt, while supplies last.)

    We will have no paper registration on race day everyone must signup online.

    DIRECTIONS/PARKING: Enter Ocean City from the 9th Street Bridge (RT 52). Turn right at the first light (Bay Avenue). Proceed to 17th Street. There is off street parking between Haven & Simpson Avenue between 16th & 17th Street. Registration will occur on the basketball courts behind Ocean City Intermediate School along the Bike Path at 19th Street along Haven Avenue.

    All proceeds benefit Ocean City Boys & Girls Cross Country and Track & Field Boosters.

    The Al Mackler Cancer Foundation contributes to pediatric cancer research projects at St. Jude's Children Hospital, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital, and Hadassah Hospital in Israel. The Foundation contributes all proceeds from each years race to pediatric cancer research at the various hospitals.

    Registration on Race Day, begins at 6:30 am, until 7:25 am. The cost to register on race day is $40.00. Race medallion to all race finishers

    WHEN: August 29, 2026 at 9:30am

    WHERE: Race will begin at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on the Atlantic City boardwalk.
