TAKE A STAND WITH EVERY STEP: Because in the fight for our Children, Retreat is not an option!

Every day, predators target our children. Every hour, another innocent life is changed forever. On August 23rd, YOU can help stop this.

Join The Invictus Project's third annual 5K Rescue Run and become part of the front line defending our community's most vulnerable. This isn't just a race—it's a movement. When you lace up your shoes, you're fighting one of the darkest, fastest-growing criminal enterprises targeting our children.

Your presence sends a powerful message: Not in our community. Not on our watch.

Bring your colleagues. Rally your neighbors. Unite your friends. Together, we aren't just raising awareness—we're building an army of protection around the children who need us most.

**Business owners: Your sponsorship doesn't just support an event—it declares your commitment to protecting children in our community. Contact us today to learn how your business can stand with us at [email protected]

Critical deadline: Register by August 5th to secure your participant swag bag. After this date, supplies cannot be guaranteed.

    20th Annual 24-Hour Race

    VENUE:

    Hinson Lake, Rockingham, North Carolina

    RULES:

This event will be electronically timed. All participants will be issued a bib/chip which must be worn at all times to guarantee that all completed laps and splits are recorded. There will be a chute for runners only and if you will be taking a break, you will be asked to steer clear of the lap counting area.

    COURSE:

The course is the 1.5032-mile inner loop that circles the lake. It is a USATF certified course with certification code NC14103DF. The surface is sand/gravel-maintained trail through the woods. You will run over 16 small wooden foot bridges including a 300-foot bridge that crosses over the lake. The trail will be marked on race day and will use chem-lights at night.

    PACERS:

In an effort to prevent overcrowding on the trail, all pacers must be registered entrants.

To allow access to emergency vehicles, parking along the entrance road will be restricted to East side only (on your left as you enter the facility). The main parking area at the lodge has limited parking space and is first come/first serve. With that said, if you are not planning to stay on the trail for the entire 24 hours, I ask that you park either in the South parking lot which has access from Crow Run, on both sides of Crow Run or at the Moose Lodge located on Crow Run. There are also RV camping spaces at the Moose Lodge which is free but donations are accepted. Remember to lock your vehicle and do not leave valuables in plain sight!
