The Tyrone Race Series presents The Neptune Fire Company 5K, Firefighter 5K, First Responder 5K and Kids Bucket Brigade Sprint!
The Neptune Fire Company 5K, Firefighter 5K, First Responder 5K and Kids Bucket Brigade Sprint Event that will take place on June 20th, 2026!
In 1871, as the region of Tyrone started to settle, 31 residents saw a need for fire protection and started assisting the community as Neptune Steam Volunteer. Today, Neptune Fire Company has served our community as a volunteer fire company for over 150 years and is stationed at 1701 Lincoln Avenue in Tyrone, Pennsylvania. In 2024, Neptune Fire Company has 25 members assisting the community in more than 375 calls per year. Each firefighter is safely equipped with gear costing over $8,000 to help fight fires and assist the community. Donations raised will assist operational funds and equipment upgrades.

6:30 AM : Check in and day of registration will take place at Neptune Fire Co Number 1
8:00 AM: 5K, Firefighter 5K and First Responder 5K starts
Following Race: Kids Bucket Brigade Sprint (50-100 Meter Dash)
Following Race: Awards and Closing Ceremony

Early Registration: Registrations may be mailed in or you may register on runsignup.com. Register by May 31st to be guaranteed short sleeve shirt.
Day of Race Registration: Race registration for the day of is only available from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM
Additional Shirts - Can be ordered on RunSignUp Store and picked up race day on June 20TH, 2026 at Neptune Fire Co Number 1 located at 1701 Lincoln Ave, Tyrone, PA 16686.

Cancellation Disclaimer: In the event of a cancellation of Neptune Fire Co Race, all proceeds will be given to Neptune's Fire Company.
Inclement Weather: We will be monitoring the forecast and in the event of inclement weather the race will be postponed to a later date provided by the Tyrone Race Series committee. Any updates will be posted on the race website and on the Facebook event.
