Cycling Gravel Group Ride

Come camp with us!

This will be a no drop group ride to our private campground at a leasurly pace. Expect mostly gravel roads with some pavement. Meet at the store at 5pm, we leave at 5:30pm. People generally roll out in the morning at their leasure, but there is usually a small group heading back together. You are welcome to head out by yourself if you'd like. Please don't go in the house without permission.

Bring food and supplies for the night! Be prepared.

This event happens rains or shine.

Kids are welcome with a parent or caretaker. We will be on a busy road for a short distance, please make sure kids know the rules of the road.

Camp Aberdeen has a lot of space to spread out. It is not recommended to camp next to the fire pit or in the brush. We do our best to control it, but there is a lot of poison ivy on our land. The open fields and paths are generally free of it, but un-cleared places likely have a lot of it. The lake is swimable, but rinse off afterwards to avoid simmers itch. There is an outdoor shower on the premesis.

Please leave our campground clean. Pack out what you pack in. There will be a trash can available with limited capacity.

There is a very large dog named Abel that will bark at you when you arrive. He is harmless, amazing with kids and a big gentle boy. Treat him like you know him and he will lean on you for pets. Ignore him and he will continue to bark. He is loud, but he's a good boy.
