Welcome! Welcome to the unique landscape of Cline Buttes which offers stunning views of the Three Sisters Wilderness to the west and the central Oregon desert to the east! This location often has breathtaking sunrises, sunsets, and night sky. We will offer race participants to choose a time-duration of their liking (3/6/12/24hr, last person standing option, or 5k). Route Description This race will involve a 3.1 mile loop-style course where runners will repeat the loop as many times to their liking in their time-duration event. Don't be fooled though, the loop will consist of a .4mi climb of 800 feet to the top of Cline Butte and a cruisy downhill thereafter to repeat again.Runners who opt to run the 3/6/12/24hr will complete as many laps as they'd like. The Last Person Standing participants will start their loop at the top of the hour for every hour until the last person remains. The last runner can continue to complete as many loops as they'd like as long as they are back in the starting

corral at the very top of the hour. The winners (male, female, and non-binary) will receive $150 each. The 5k will start with all other events and complete one loop. Route file: https://caltopo.com/m/919PKPU Why Nighttime? This idea came to fruition as a means to provide runners with an overnight race/event while having the camaraderie, close aid station support, and grassroots feel. Whether you're running this race as a part of training to get ready for your first overnight event, or hungry for some steep and punchy vert, or ready to tackle your longest run yet with the last person standing, we're eager to bring you a challenging and meaningful race in the beautiful Central Oregon desert! Fundraiser A portion of the proceeds will go to the Cross-Country team at Mountain View High School located in Bend, Oregon. Individuals under 18 can also have sponsors for the event (e.g. making a contribution per lap or a cumulative contribution). Please contact the RD for sponsorship information.

This was long overdue; not just for Alpenglow Endurance, but for trail racing and sport as a whole. In a world where Indigenous rights and history are still infrequently discussed, we do find utility and educational value in land acknowledgments. But we needed to do something more than just words. This felt like an easy, correct, and just implementation.Youth Trail DiscountsThe RD is a passionate high school cross-country and track coach whose mission is to encourage the younger generation to thrive, promote self-discovery, and find community in running. Individuals 18 and under can register with a 50% off discount for any event over the 5k distance. For the 5k distance, 18 and under will receive a 20% discount. Please contact the RD for the discount code. A separate waiver will be made for those under 18. Land Acknowledgement The Cline Buttes races take place upon lands of people who have called this home for thousands of years prior to colonization. Tribes with historic ties to the area

include the Nuumu (Northern Paiute) people. We fully support and respect the restoration of rights of indigenous peoples from whom these lands were taken. Cancellation Policy If an athlete registers for the event and becomes pregnant or is in postpartum and decides to not compete, they may rollover their race credit to any future year. Please note that no other refunds or bib transfers will be given to race participants once registration is complete. Please understand there are no exceptions to this.If the Cline Buttes race for which you are registered is cancelled for any other unforeseen reason (e.g. fire or fire hazard, severe weather, etc.), we will attempt to reschedule the race to another proximate date.
