Join the Southlake Showdown 5K Series – 2026 Winter & Spring Edition and commit to a 19-week run/walk challenge built on consistency, community, and fun no matter the season.

We run every Thursday from January 8 – May 21 (skipping March 19).

Southlake Showdown 5K Series is a free weekly event to get surrounding communities together for some outdoor fun. There is a great route in the middle of Southlake free from traffic that you’ll enjoy. The Southlake Showdown 5K Series can be as challenging as you would like it to be. Hope to see you on Thursday evenings.

    Join us for our annual Lone Star Trail Murph hosted by Saddle Up Promotions on April 11th. In this event, racers will complete a 1mile trail run followed by 100 pull ups, 200 push ups, 300 air squats and another 1mile trail run.

    Lone Star Trail Murph will be at the Northshore Trail in Flower Mound Tx. The first mile run will include sections of loop 5 while the second mile run will include a section of loop 1.

    Divisions:

    -Novice: 1mile Run + 100 ring row + 200 knee push ups + 300 air squats + 1mile Run

    -Intermediate: 1mile Run + 100 pull ups + 200 push ups + 300 air squats + 1mile Run

    -Elite (W 14lb vest, M 20lb vest): 1mile Run + 100 pull ups + 200 push ups + 300 air squats + 1mile Run

    -5k Trail Run (Footrace only)

    -10k Trail Run (Footrace only)

    -5k Ruck (Women 20lb+ Men 30lb+)

    The Lonestar Elite is a premier two-day distance running event that brings together top-tier athletes from across the United States to compete on Texas soil in the Mile, 800m, and 3200m.

    The 3200m races will take place on Friday evening, while the 800m and Mile races will be held on Saturday evening. The Boys Elite Mile will include a pacer to lead the field through 1200 meters.

    Athletes at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels are welcome to register for and compete in multiple events.
