LOCAL 5K RACE IN PORT ST LUCIE! In-person race date is Saturday, May 23, 2026.

Join us for the newest Fleet Feet race at Tradition in Port St Lucie... Dreamin' of the Keys 5K!

This is an evening race on Saturday, May 23, 2026! Race starts at 6:00 p.m.

This new 5K race route will begin and end by The Gazebo on Meeting Street and will wind through part of the nearby neighborhood. Participants will receive a special short sleeve race cotton t-shirt. All Dreamin' of the Keys finishers will receive a race medal to commemorate their accomplishment. 350 race medals available.

What will this family-friendly 5K race entail? Think "tacky" Florida Keys attire, road-side t-shirts, grass skirts, Hawaiian leis, straw hats, funky sunglasses, stuffed parrots, key lime pie and of course island music. We encourage you to wear your favorite Key West costume (remember this is family friendly)! Dress up...Let's have fun!

Awards ceremony for 10 year age groups following the race.

You don't want to miss the after party around the Gazebo.

Get ready for an unforgettable, Fleet Feet style Florida Keys sunset celebration!

We want you to race with us. So, we added a reduced race fee if you do not want to receive a finisher medal and a race shirt.

We have options for Registration:

  • If you register for 5K Full Price then you are guaranteed a race shirt and Finisher medal.

  • If you register for 5K VIRTUAL then you will receive a race shirt and Finisher medal.

  • If you want to race "Old School" at a discounted rate then you will NOT receive a shirt and will NOT receive a Finisher medal. Choose the in-person race option and when you arrive at the screen to select shirt size, you will see the option to select "OLD SCHOOL (NO bib/NO medal)" to save $20.

Fleet Feet is a national supporter for Girls on the Run. We are fortunate to have a local chapter that we get to support through our local events. Please help us raise needed funds for Girls on the Run ~ Treasure Coast.

Packet pick-up will be at Fleet Feet Port St Lucie located at 11586 SW Village Pkwy in Port St Lucie.

    Join us for the third annual 5k run/walk here on the campus of St Lucie West Centennial High School. The proceeds from this race will go towards our Athletics department and provide some much needed funding for facility upgrades for our student athletes.

    The race will start and end in the back school courtyard located in front of our gymnasium.

    We will use the student parking lot for St Lucie West Centennial High School. The lot can be reached via Cameo Blvd from Crosstown Parkway, or by way of turning from Cashmere Blvd onto Education Way (in front of McChesney Park). The parking lot is located adjacent to St. Lucie West K-8 school.

    Race Details

    The 2026 Osprey Trail Race will be held at The Oxbow Eco Center in Port St. Lucie! Runners will start at the Eco Center Parking lot, then run along portions of the Heritage Trail, Gopher Trail, Blue Heron Trail, Spoon Bill Trail, Scrub Jay (here's your mud!) Trail, Racoon and Otter Trail. Trail maps are located at the trail head at Oxbow Eco Center. Remember, practice good trail etiquette when visiting Oxbow and Leave No Trace!

    25k - 7:00am start8k - 8:00 am startParking will be along the canal easement. Park straight in, and squeeze in close to the car next to you to make sure everyone has a spot. Volunteers will be there to guide parking.

    Your Donations help!

    All of our race proceeds (what's left after paying for swag, supplies, food, etc.) are donated to Oxbow Eco Center's environmental education program. If you would like to help, we have added a "Donation" option on your registration.

    We Are A Cup-less Race

    To reduce our environmental impact, we are a cup-less race. You must bring something to carry water in. A handheld, a vest, half a coconut, the skulls of your enemies, we'll leave it up to you.

The Oxbow Eco-Center is both a nature preserve and an environmental learning center in Port St. Lucie, Florida, situated on 225-acres along the North Fork of the St Lucie River. It is the Environmental Education and Community Outreach Division of St. Lucie County’s Environmental Resources Department. The property was acquired with Environmentally Significant Lands and Save Our Rivers funding in a partnership between St. Lucie County and the South Florida Water Management District. The land is managed and preserved to sustain native plants and wildlife.
