    Green Newton Cider Run

Welcome to the 2026 Green Newton Adventures Cider Run at Slabtown Cider!

Welcome to the 2026 Green Newton Cider Run September 19, 2026 · Slabtown Cider Co. · Uxbridge, Ontario. Celebrate trail running, local cider, and the arrival of autumn at one of Ontario’s most unique race experiences. The Green Newton Cider Run takes you onto the private trails of Woodnewton — rolling hardwood forest, winding single track, punchy climbs, and flowing descents across the Oak Ridges Moraine. This is a rare chance to explore trails most runners will never get accessto, right next door to Slabtown Cider Co. Whether you’re tackling the 40K Bushel, cruising the 8K Apple, hiking the 3.5K Sauce route, or introducing your kids to trail running, every distance ends the same way: great food, local cider, and a welcoming trail community. Run hard. Stay awhile. Raise a glass.

Why You’ll Love the Cider Run

    • Exclusive access to the private Woodnewton Farm trail network

    • Beautiful fall colours across the Oak Ridges Moraine

    • Local food and handcrafted Slabtown Cider after the race

    • Distances for every ability — from first-timers to seasoned trail runners

    • Family-friendly activities, including a free Kids’ Fun Run

    • Environmentally responsible event with direct support for local trail stewardship

    The Course

Expect flowing singletrack, winding forest trails, rooty technical sections, and plenty of elevation to keep things interesting. Every loop combines fast, runnable stretches with short, punchy climbs that reward determination before opening into scenic recovery sections beneath the forest canopy. Because the course travels through private property, maps will be released shortly before race day.
