McClellan Madness

The Pup Strut 5k is a dog-friendly 5k and 1-mile fun run held annually in Etowah County, AL, supporting the Etowah Chamber. The first annual event will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Vivian Lee Maddox Walking Trail. It's a fun event for runners, walkers, and their canine companions, with a Vendor Village, costume contest, and other activities held at the Rainbow City Mega Sports Complex.

Race Information

The race starts at 8:00 AM.

Packet pickup starts 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race starts.

All runners must register on RunSignup.

No on-site registration.

Addition Information

Your GPS may take you to a small building on Old S 4st Street.

If so, go south onto Old S. 4 Street and turn right in the parking lot.

We are just behind the Gadsden Mall.

This course is on a pea gravel trail.

This trail run covers a gravel path, making for an exhilarating experience. The course will make use of Noccalula Falls Multi-Use Trails, clearly marked and easy to navigate for both runners and walkers alike.
