Join the local legend Kai Martin for a couple of laps as he boldly takes on the Sturt 500 Challenge in aid of Domestic Violence support for the Murraylands.

From February 18th to 22nd, Kai will be running up to 110km per day for the first 4 days then 60km to finish off on the Sunday.

Kai is asking for everyones support, to show your voice and help end Domestic Violence. Your contributions will provide valuable support to those that have and are experiencing Domestic Violence. All proceeds go directly to Kai's Charity that provides impactful programs in aid of this great cause.

    Federation Ultra Trail

    Born from a sense of adventure and a love for exploring our own backyard, the inaugural Federation Ultra Trail was held in 2018. The course traverses the southern end of the Lavender/Federation Trail from Monarto Safari Park to the riverside trail head at Sturt Reserve in Murray Bridge.

    Runners are treated to exclusive access to Monarto Safari Parks walking trails that allows them glimpses of roaming Wild African animals including Meerkats, Giraffe, Bison, Chimpanzees and Rhinos. Proceeds from the event have raised in excess of $35,000, donated to Monarto Safari Park to help protect endangered species.

    In 2019, the Federation Ultra Trail was proud to become a part of the first S.A. Five 50’s Ultra series; where runners take on the mammoth challenge of completing 5 of S.A.’s Trail Ultras. This series is now in its 7th year.

    Welcome to the 2026 Murray Bridge Marathon Festival 5k - 10k - 21.1k - 42.2k --- Sunday November 1st will be the 8th annual running of our event and again our Halloween edition! Choose from 4 classic distances; 5k, 10k, Half and full Marathon distances. The course starts and finishes by the Bunyip at Sturt Reserve taking in the River Cities highlights whilst hugging the River. A Bridge closure is in place where all runners gets to run over the first bridge to span the Murray river. Run the riverside esplanade, reserve, Bridge St, and the first bridge to span the Mighty Murray! This is a stunning course and not to be missed.
