    ABOUT It’s time to give meaning to mountain running!Climb It For Climate is returning for another year in the Catskill Mountains at Belleayre! Sitting just under 3500ft, this formidable mountain offers epic views of the stunning Catskill High Peaks around every turn. Runners participating will have the option of a 25K or an 8K. We have added an early start hiking option this year for those that want to enjoy the course, but don't want to be chasing cutoffs.     CARBON This is a zero carbon event, meaning we take into account the emissions released in relation to hosting this trail race.     Description

    Join us for as we return for the fifth edition of the epic Plattekill Mountain Race on June 6th, 2027. We will be traversing up, down and around the ski slopes and trails of Plattekill. The course will be 6.5 miles with 3500ft of elevation gain. Whether you are looking to take on an epic mountain challenge or looking for a tough training race for something even bigger, this race will be sure to test your limits. For those that want to come out for just a taste of some vert on this beautiful mountain, The 5k will head up the same way the mountain race starts on the gravel trail with 1000ft of gain in the first 1.25 miles before traversing straight across the mountain with some epic views before you fly down the last 1.25 mile downhill finish.
