In the Footsteps of Aeneas

Founded in July 2022 by Alessandro, Stefano, and Thomas in the coastal town of Anzio, Italy, The Crew Anzio offers a relaxed, informal approach to running that emphasizes friendship and community over competition. Growing steadily in a town of about 60,000, this close-knit group embraces a pirate symbol chosen by Thomas, a tattoo artist, to represent their adventurous and loyal spirit. Their social runs, often along Anzio’s scenic seaside and historic routes, welcome runners of all levels at moderate paces, promoting inclusion and shared progress. Beyond running, the crew actively partners with local businesses and hosts events that incorporate their passion into the town’s fabric, strengthening local connections. By keeping membership open and free, The Crew Anzio creates a warm, accessible environment where newcomers and longtime members alike feel connected. In doing so, they help shape Anzio’s running culture with a genuine focus on camaraderie, exploration, and community celebration.

Cani Sciolti Running Team started in Rome in 2016. The name means "Unleashed Dogs" and reflects their goal of running without strict rules. Four friends founded the group, which now has over 50 members who take part in races in Italy and other countries. They also run the X-Solid Sport Lab, which offers other sports and helps build a local athletic community.

Community Run

Founded in December 2021, Souplesse has quickly become a friendly running community in Rome. Embracing a philosophy of running “at a natural pace, showing no signs of effort,” the group focuses on camaraderie and enjoyment rather than competition, inviting runners of all levels to join. Their runs wind through Rome’s famous landmarks like the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and along the Tiber River, mixing the city’s rich history with lively modern culture. Beyond running, Souplesse fosters community through social events that build friendships. This inclusive group stands out in Rome’s running scene by creating a lively, supportive environment where laughter and shared passion bring together locals and newcomers alike.
