The 3rd Annual Michael Bazan Jimenez & Noah Lichwa Memorial Fun Run will be a fundraiser taking place on Winters Youth Day, April 25th, 2026 to help raise money for the Noah Lichwa & Michael Bazan Jimenez Memorial Scholarships. On June 9th 2022, we tragically lost two young men which effected our community deeply. We are bringing back this Youth Day Fun Run not only to raise money to benefit students at the local high school, but also to remember and honor the boys we lost that day. This will be a 5K fun run/walk, on April 25th, 2026 and starting at 7:00 AM. All funds raised will be given to the Scholarship and awarded at the Winters High School Senior Night. If you can't register on line, in person registration will take place on Friday April 24th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Winters Community Center. All participants that register by Thursday April 2nd will be guaranteed a commemorative Noah Lichwa and Michael Bazan Jimenez Memorial Fun Run t-shirt. Participants who register after that

will only receive t-shirts as supplies last, on a first come first serve basis.

You Only Live Once, so join us for the YOLO Run for a morning of sunshine that benefits children and families. UC Davis Children's Hospital and the NEC Society are teaming up on May 16th because it's Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC) Awareness Day.

Join us on the football field on May 16, 2026, at the UC Davis Health Stadium in Davis, California! Choose your distance and get ready to start and finish your race in the Stadium at the second annual YOLO Run, presented by the NEC Society and UC Davis Children's Hospital.

NEC is an intestinal disease that can affect medically fragile infants during their first weeks and months of life. UC Davis Children's Hospital provides lifesaving care for babies at risk of NEC, and the NEC Society is the world's leading nonprofit advancing NEC research, education, and advocacy. Yolo County locals, Jennifer and Noah Canvasser, launched the NEC Society after tragically losing their son, Micah, to the disease. By teaming up with UC Davis Children's Hospital, the Canvasser family and NEC Society are building a world without NEC. Join us for the YOLO Run to support this work!

Ready to run in the biggest Fleet Feet event ever? Welcome to The Big Run!

On June 3rd, Fleet Feet locations nationwide will hold a local 5K run. Our focus is on community, and we want to see the whole community participate because, seriously, running together rocks. Let us recap the ways:

    • You get to join Fleet Feet communities across the country in doing something we've never done before—a nationally-coordinated 5K race taking place in different locations all on the same day.

    • It's on a Wednesday—who couldn't use a mid-week pump-up?

    • Every finisher gets a medal. Not just any medal. A very cool, make-your-friends-jealous medal.

    • Register before May 22 to be guaranteed a shirt.

    • Sign up soon- we only have 200 entries available! No race day sign ups.

    • We know some people. And some pretty cool brands (cough, cough, Brooks). Let's just say, we're planning some fun raffle giveaways and category prizes.

Our race will also be raising much needed funds for the Parkinson's Research Foundation. Race Director, Carol Gilpin's mother, Pat Foster battled this disease the last 10 years of her life and Carol is celebrating her life at this event. We will be serving ice cream at the finish line to celebrate Pat, and the full life she lived. Please donate here.

The Big Run coincides with Global Running Day and is open to runners of all levels and abilities. All participants will run their miles on the track. This run is untimed, participants will be responsible for counting their own mileage either by keeping track of their laps or by GPS watch. This event is stroller friendly. As much as we love our four-legged friends, no dogs are allowed at the event.

The inaugural Pena Passage, Lagoon Valley's Trail Race, presented by Altra, promises runners and hikers of every stride and skill level a scenic and adventurous trail race. Set against the stunning backdrop of Lagoon Valley Park’s rolling hills, shimmering lagoon, winding single-track trails, and fire roads, this event offers three distinct distances to challenge and delight participants.

The 5K course weaves through gentle terrain, ideal for first-time trail runners with some adventurous single track included, families, and those looking for a fun yet invigorating run or hike.

In contrast, the 10K route introduces slightly more rugged sections and elevation, testing endurance while rewarding runners with sweeping views of open grasslands and shaded oak groves.

For seasoned trail enthusiasts seeking a true test of resilience, the 30K distance presents every challenge of the 10k route but times three! Runners will traverse a mix of technical trails, climbs, and descents that showcase the park’s natural beauty and varied ecosystems.

Each course is thoughtfully marked and supported, with aid stations positioned to keep athletes hydrated and motivated. The following is a list of some of the foods and beverages each aid station may provide: Electrolyte drink, Energy gels, chews, pretzels, Oreo cookies, water, M&M’s, bananas, and watermelon! Whether competing for personal bests or simply soaking in the camaraderie of the trail running community, participants will find the Pena Passage, Lagoon Valley's Trail Race an unforgettable experience that celebrates both the spirit of competition and the tranquility of nature.

The Kids Fun Run at the Pena Passage a Lagoon Valley trail race is all about smiles, movement, and big finish-line energy. Young runners dash up the scenic trail with cheers from parents and volunteers echoing through the route. It’s a short, playful race that celebrates effort over speed and confidence over competition. Every kid leaves feeling like a champion—and usually asking when they can do it again.

Our race shirts are long sleeve tech tees to shield you from the elements all year long. With sun defense, moisture-wicking technology and comfortable fit, it fits the needs of every athlete. To be guaranteed a shirt and shirt size, you must register by May 15, 2026.

We are partnering with NAMI Solano County - a local mental health service charity.
