Inspired by the legendary North Brooklyn Runners, the crew was founded as a cooperative effort to keep runners accountable through weekly speedwork sessions. They are defined by their common aim of "getting faster and having a ton of fun along the way." Their culture is highlighted by a legendary annual track meet, which famously includes a beer mile and is considered by them to be the most fun athletic event in the Swiss sporting calendar.
