Valentine 5K & 10K @ Bay Ridge

The Bandit Grand Prix is back for Round 2, returning to the Brooklyn Storehouse on Saturday, May 30th.

The running race will consist of multiple short laps around a spectacular circuit in the heart of Brooklyn. Alongside the race encompasses a festival that combines music, food & beverage, and community in a vibrant and culturally diverse environment.

Organized at the intersection of the urban and traditional running scenes, the Bandit Grand Prix reimagines the traditional 5k to provide an incredible experience for all levels of athletes.

The innovative format features a full day of 5k Open Races which build energy and anticipation towards the 3k Super Final. All athletes will compete in the 5k Open Races for an overall ranking and a chance to advance to the nighttime 3k Super Final.

Following the Super Finals, there will be an after-party for participants, friends, and family, to celebrate collectively.

Memorial Day weekend is about sacrifice and honor. Join us in memory of those that made the ultimate sacrifice. Run and race through the historic grounds of Fort Hamilton, one of the oldest operating military bases in the United States. Another epic experience to join us and hundreds of visitors from the armed forces here for Fleet Week NYC. The NYC Bay is the perfect setting for a half marathon, 10K, or 5K with views of the NYC Skyline, Verrazano Bridge, and the historic grounds of Fort Hamilton. A mostly flat and fast course and awesome medals, shirts, awards, and post event grub. Ahoy!! Let's do this!! Race up to and under the longest suspension bridge in the Americas and put your running season into full gear. The course is well marked, super flat, and easy to manage so get ready to post your fastest time ever. Get there by car, bike, foot, subway, or bus. Support stations will be available at every 1.5 miles with water, Gatorade, and gel packs for you to "grab and go". Afterward, dig

into Brooklyn's best bagels, fruits, and drinks as we celebrate with a classy photo session and awards ceremony. Photographs and Video posted on the day of the event. This includes your finish line video. Technical T-Shirt & big and beautiful finisher's medal handed out after the race. Live chip timing, live online tracking so that your friends and family can follow you, and a memory that honors Memorial Day for all that it represents.

The Half Marathon course consists of 3 loops, 10K - 2 loops, 5K-1 loop. Every loop will be timed in real time. Your family members will be able to track you every time you complete a loop! Start and finish are at the same point, just inside the base entrance.

Water Stations: 3 Full stations with water, gatorade, and HUMA gels.

The 37th Annual Kenneth Dolan Memorial 5k Run

Sunday, June 7, 2026 - Prospect Park Brooklyn, New York . All runners are welcome to join us for the free after party featuring activities for the family, food, drinks and music!

A SPECIAL THOUGHT

Kenny Dolan was alive for a brief 23 years. Yet in that time, he not only brought a tremendous amount of joy to a great number of people, but more importantly, he taught them how to laugh, love and have fun.

Tragically, on March 14, 1990 Kenny passed away as a result of an automobile accident. The Kenny Dolan Memorial Fund at Iona University has been established from this race to assist a student in need of financial support for his or her education. It is in this spirit that Kenny will be remembered.

By Car - LIE to BQE to Prospect Expressway – 10th Avenue Exit make right at light then next two rights onto Prospect Park West. Holy Name Church is located between Windsor Place and Prospect Avenue on Prospect Park West. Registration is in the school basement.

Holy Name Church stop is at the end of the B68 as well as along the B67 line.

By Train
