Join us at the Sauk County Fairgrounds, 700 Washington Avenue in Baraboo, Wisconsin on April 18, 2026 for the 9th Annual Find Your Pulse 5k Run, 10k Run, 5k Walk, and Kids 1k run/walk to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Baraboo, Wisconsin!

Early Packet Pick-up

April 17th 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Pulse Fitness & Training 501 Hitchcock St Baraboo, WI

Same Day registration is available Online up until race time

Packet Pick-Up: 7:30-8:30 a.m. at Sauk County Courthouse Square

National Anthem & Announcements: 8:15 a.m.

Kids 1k Run Start: 8:30 am

10k Run Start: 9:00 am

5k Run Start: 9:15 am

5K Walk Start: 9:20am

Food: 10:00am - 11:30am

Awards: 10:30am

Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Runners receive a race shirt if registered by April 3, 2026, subject to availability.

Kids Zone Info

The 1k Kids Run/Walk will be a "Hero Run", featuring local police, fire, EMS, and military personnel in their uniforms! There will be a Bouncy House along with various kid activities.* Let the kids hang out with us while you run!

    At 8:00 we'll get the 10k-ers moving with an out and back style run on the bike trail. THIS IS NEW so please park at 200 Eagle St Reedsburg, WI 53959 (Lakeside Foods).

    The 2-mile fun run/walk route is down and out as well. We'll get runners on their way shortly after the path clears from the 10k crew.

    The Butter Run is just one of the many fantastic events running in conjunction with Butterfest. Any money we make is put back into making Butterfest even better next year!

    Results will be posted online shortly after the race concludes.

    Taste of Portage Half Marathon will take you on a beautiful run through Portage, Wisconsin.

    Taste of Portage Half Marathon will be a course with lots of variety as you make your way past several of our community parks and the paved Levee path on the Wisconsin River. We will have cool swag, medals, and a huge downtown post-race block party/awards ceremony! See you in August!

    Bring your whole family and enjoy the race as part of our annual Taste of Portage Market Fair in downtown for the weekend. Friday night packets can be picked up at the event and you can stay to enjoy some live music and food. After the race on Saturday, you and your family can enjoy the downtown party with live music, kid’s entertainment, a classic car show, sidewalk sales and specials in our businesses and of course lots of food and cold beverages to enjoy!

    The Taste of Portage Half Marathon & 5K will start and finish in downtown Portage at the Columbia County Administration Building, located at 112 Edgewater Street, Portage, WI 53901. There will be plenty of parking here and portable bathrooms to use. Event photos are encouraged!

    The Portage Best Western Resort Hotel & Conference Center (2701 South County Highway CX, Portage) is offering a special group rate for those staying over and who are in town for the Taste of Portage Half Marathon. The Best Western has recently been renovated, offers an indoor heated pool and a complimentary HOT breakfast.
