Bridge2Bridge, known by our family of return participants as "B2B" is more than a race...it’s a celebration of community, purpose, and fun in the heart of Historic Georgetown, SC. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a first-time participant, or a spirited supporter, this annual event brings people together from near and far to run, walk, and connect.

Whether you're in it for the sights, the bridges, or the challenge this race is an experience you won’t forget. Each route of the Bridge2Bridge Run is intentionally designed to show off the scenic charm and historic gems of Georgetown County, starting at the iconic Rice Museum Clock Tower and winding past waterfront views, historic homes, and landmarks.

    Join us Saturday, April 25, 2026, for the Annual Pier to Pier Beach 5K Run. The event will take place on the sandy beach from the Springmaid Pier and then under the Myrtle Beach State Park Pier and out to the turn 1.55 miles from the start. All race participants will receive a custom finisher’s medal and a memorable Tshirt. Registration prior to March 20, 2025 guarantees shirt size, after this date, we cannot guarantee.

    We will also host an untimed 1-mile Pier to Pier Fun Run after the conclusion of the 5K! Participants will run/walk the half mile on the beach and then be cheered on through the finish! All race participants will receive a custom finishers medal and a memorable Tshirt. We highly encourage you to dress up in fun and appropriate beach wear and costumes to make the event more memorable!     Parking will be at the Nash Street Public Beach Access at 3201 Nash Street, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. The Double Tree Hotel will be allowing Horry County Parks and Recreation to utilize their parking garage and we cannot thank them enough for that.

    There will be additional parking at the Shipwreck Island Adventure Golf with Coastal RTA shuttles running starting at 7am if we need it.

    Packet Pick-Up:

    Friday, April 24, 2026, from 9am- 11am at the Government and Justice Center (1301 Second Ave, Conway, SC 29526). Friday packet pick-up will then be 5pm-7pm at the South Strand Recreation Center (9650 Scipio Lane, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588).

    Saturday, April 25, 2026, beginning at 7:00am at race site (Nash Street Public Beach Access).

    Please note that the Pier to Pier Beach Fun Run also requires check-in to receive t-shirts.

    Start and Finish:

    The start and finish lines will be in the same location near the Springmaid Pier. Free refreshments will be available near the finish line for all runners.

    Join NS PROMOS for the SEÑOR FROGS FIESTA Run/Walk at Señor Frogs at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, SC! We are excited to partner with Señor Frogs for this race and look forward to seeing you there! Runners and Walkers are all welcome!! All 5K race participants receive a complimentary light buffet breakfast! Additional breakfast buffets can be purchased during registration for $12.00. Dress up in your most festive attire and celebrate with us!

    Race Info:

    • Animals are not permitted on the race course and will result in disqualification. Service animals as recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted on course. Those participating with a service animal must inform staff at bib pickup and are asked to begin at the back of the race for safety purposes.

    • Baby joggers, baby strollers, skate boards, roller blades, unauthorized bicycles or any other wheeled device are not permitted on the race course and will result in disqualification. Wheelchairs, mobility aids, etc. as recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted on course. Those participating with a recognized device must inform staff at bib pickup and are asked to begin at the back of the race for safety purposes.

    Interested in getting active but not sure where to start? We invite you to join Team NEXT STEP Group Training and receive the help and guidance you are looking for! All of our plans are online/virtual, you don't need to live in Myrtle Beach to join. Our Group Training plans take the guesswork out of your training schedule and keeps you on track to meet your goals! We have various sessions available throughout the year. Take a look and choose the one that fits you! Runners and Walkers all welcome! All abilities welcome!

    Who is NEXT STEP Performance & Events? Team NEXT STEP is led by Head Coach Dawn White. Coach Dawn is a certified running coach of over a decade and has trained all abilities of runners and walkers, groups and individuals throughout the many years. She is also a long distance runner and understands how to motivate others and help them reach their goals!

    One of the the tenets of NEXT STEP is to get people active and with so many searching for guidance to keep them healthy, we felt the need to offer group training options. For less than $15/week you receive the following:

    • Access to Team Calendar on Final Surge which allows you to upload runs and workouts (you will create a free profile and request Dawn as your coach)

    • Daily training group plan programmed through Final Surge

    • Ability to communicate via Final Surge with Coach Dawn

    • Training plan includes warmup, post workout stretching, strength training, cross training, and general tips about running/walking

    • Included in private Facebook group

    • Discount for goal race during session

    • Choice of Rookie Training Plan or Advanced Training Plan during most sessions

    • Rookie Training Plan-beginners or those who are starting back after some time off. Advanced Training Plan-those who are running or walking regularly

    The Rookie Training Plan is designed for those new to exercising or those who have not been active in a while. This plan will get you started safely and gradually progress in intensity and endurance.

    • The Advanced Training Plan is designed for those with more experience and consistent running/walking. This plan will help you increase your fitness and endurance safely.
    • Just Training Sessions are 10 weeks in length and designed to keep the athlete focused and on track to race up to 10K distance. There is no target race per se, but athletes may choose to race during the session. Consideration will be made for the beginner athlete and advanced athlete. Dates vary.

    We are proud to announce that the Sons Of The American Legion Squadron 178 in Murrells Inlet is holding our 3rd annual 5K Fun Run on June 6th, 2026 at the American Legion Post 178 in Murrells Inlet, SC.

    So many people stepped up for our military veterans last year! This year it is time to stand with our veterans and SWEAT FOR A VET AGAIN!

    Join us for the 3rd Annual Sweat For A Vet 5K Run/Walk hosted by the the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 178 in Murrells Inlet, SC! Or choose the virtual option and run/walk with us from your location! Runners and Walkers are all welcome! Our course begins and ends at the American Legion Post 178 in Murrells Inlet. It is a beautiful flat course with very few turns.

    The sole purpose of this event is to help up continue providing support to our LOCAL military veterans and their families. If you ran our race last year, you know that we are serious about helping our LOCAL veterans!

    Over $7000.00 in proceeds from last year's race were donated to LOCAL veterans organizations! We hope to have a larger impact on our veterans and our community this year!

    The Sons of The American Legion (SAL) was created in 1932 as an organization within The American Legion. This organization places its highest importance on preserving our American traditions and values, improving the quality of life for our nation's children, caring for veterans and their families, and perhaps most importantly, teaching the fundamentals of good citizenship.

    Sons of The American Legion exists to honor the service and sacrifice of Legionnaires.

    By participating in this event, you will join SAL members who have raised more than $9 million for The American Legion Child Welfare Foundation. SAL members have volunteered over 455,000 hours at veterans hospitals and raised over $1,600,000 for VA hospitals and VA homes.

    The SAL continues to provide services to those in need in the LOCAL communities, through programs that include fundraising events such as this.

    Join us for the Awesome 80s Summer Solstice Beach Run presented by Moe Moon's! This unique race features the beauty of Myrtle Beach and takes advantage of the beginning of summer and the longest day of sunlight! Participants will begin on the sand at Plyler Park and head north for approx 1/2 mile and then return. Once your race is complete, join us at Plyer Park for music, food, and fun! Race participants will receive a hotdog, chips, and soda/water compliments of Moe Moon's! Bring your beach towel, dress up in your favorite 80s costume, and let's have a picnic together!
